See the people on BG thought I was nuts because I said that this was a terrible Olympics, so I was guessing maybe other people saw it in a more positive light than I did. Maybe not so much then.

Or the fact that they had video cameras installed in all the washrooms and shower fixtures. Yeah, I'm not joking about that either (though Jon Stewart did)

I really hate flyers that businesses hang on people's doors. Every weekend I get half a dozen of them. What a fucking waste of trees.

So I just put up a sign on my door. The next business to put a flyer on my door is getting a phone call to promptly come remove their literature. I'm tired of this fucking bullshit.

It's pretty great, isn't it? I was so disappointed when my local store stopped carrying six-packs of it.

It has quickly replaced Honker's Ale as my new favorite beer from the grocery store. They sell it in 4-packs. It took me really taking the time to look at the non-refrigerated section of beer to appreciate how many great micro-brews they have. This is one of the great turning points in my life.

Pet peeve time: Yeah, we really are headed for Cold War 2.0. Our POTUS's bluff has just been called.

Scheduled a phone appointment with an academic adviser at 9:30, have called six times now and gotten voicemail each time. It's 9:47. I left one voicemail right at 9:30, but will I hear back? Doubt.

I don't know what that's supposed to mean. I had to talk to someone related to my college credits and admittance into the College of Education.

He finally did call back, turns out his 9:00 appointment showed up late and then ran late.

Well considering the guy just got done telling me that I needed to apply specifically for the CoE, moved a few credits that didn't automatically transfer, and gave me info on where to fax my test scores, I think you're wrong, poopyhead.
