Apparently Cyrus mentioned "Nothing Compares 2 You" as an inspiration for the video in a Rolling Stone article.

Well the space on the floor in Parliament is exactly two longsword lengths apart because Members of Parliament used to attempt to duel each other during debates. Well, until all weapons were banned anyway. Shame really, it would make watching debates a lot more interesting. Now it's mostly schoolground insults and outright slander.

Most of Europe is the same really though I don't think an actual fistfight has broken out for a while now.

You've never seen the House of Commons in Canada. Still a pissing match, though I maintain it's way more dignified than anything in Europe (I've seen the British Parliament on the BBC tyvm you guys are waaaaay worse when things heat up rofl.)

Freaking Flash Player.

So, I finally get a chance to go be interviewed for a good job--it was to be a group interview done in a private conference room of some sort. So, I get there 10 minutes ahead of schedule as instructed . . .

. . . only to get an error saying that I didn't have Adobe Flash Player. By choice, mind you.

So as quick as I can, I get to installing Flash Player--twice--but by the time I can get to the interview room I'm late, and they declined my request for entry.

Argh!
