True. At least I can trust Tumblr not to give me some raunchy virus, which I can't say about porn sites.
I like that it's more instantaneous than something like a forum. Even on BG which is much more active than this forum, I don't often get immediate responses to things. If I post something on Tumblr chances are I'll get feedback within a few minutes at the most.
Plus, liveblogging during TV shows is a lot of fun, that and live tweeting. Tweeting can be more fun though if the cast members tweet along. But I just find it amusing. And some of the gifs are fucking hilarious.
You weren't around for E3 were you? Shit was all live posting with cross posts to threads and BG chat. Evo was pretty much a live feed of shit going down too.
Nah, I was probably either in class or at work, those are 99% of what I do these days. Oh and homework, which I should be doing right now but I'm procrastinating - luckily, I don't have that much due tomorrow.
Main problem with Tumblr is the community is so insular and if you disagree with the crowd you're going to get harassed off the internet faster than someone dumb enough to piss off /b/.
Plus there's the people that think everything originates from Tumblr, no matter how old.
Professors arbitrarily changing deadlines. Basically moving them forward without warning.
I had been working steadily on the chapters required, so that I would have plenty of time to complete them by the coming deadline. Now suddenly they're due tomorrow at 1700, which means I have to do them all today because like a normal functioning adult, I work on Mondays. So now I'm rushing through coursework just to get it done because having a shitty score is still better than a zero, but man, I'm irritated because I could have spent ample time with this and done much better.
And nary an e-mail was sent to warn the students of the change.
Rude.

Oh, and even worse? It's biology, which I really suck at. (Last time I took science courses was half my life ago. So ... yeah.)
Each day I go for a walk, I get snagged on one little bit of webbing and that's okay. I came in contact with a few walking tonight, then I come home and there's a web on the door lock and then some webbing in the entrance to living room I had only left alone for an hour and a half.
Its like Attack on Titan for spiders today or something.
