I learned something this week.

I still suck playing on the player 2 side of a Street Fighter arcade cabinet. I can't Shroyuken to the left that good with a joystick as i can a D-pad. My Ken lost to Sodom, but thankfully by then it was time to be seated for Pacific Rim.

Street Fighter. It fuels my endless rage.

After putting in nearly 60 hours my win ratio of 20% hasn't budged at all. I feel like I'm not getting better and every victory I do manage to scrape together isn't so much me winning as it is my opponent throwing away the match by doing something phenomenally stupid. Plus the execution is fucking hard and there's some shit I can't even practice because I'm basically unable to perform the input on command.

I couldn't work in a place that would make me turn my phone off. I'm sorry, I have kids, if there's an emergency they need to be able to reach me.

Sounds like one of those wonderful employers treating everyone like they are kids in high school. Not browsing forums on computers i can understand, but "phones off" is too invasive and inconsiderate of potential emergencies.

Today, my peeve is that all of the simple food in the house has been eaten and all that's left is stuff that I have to actually make an effort with. And I'm completely not in the mood to cook.

I feel the same way when I get home. I have zero effort when I get home from work, so dinner has to be simple. When I'm rich I'm going to hire a maid. A bangmaid.

I wonder if the wife I buy will mind...

Youtube is fucking hosed tonight and I can't figure out why.

Seriously, I can load all of about three seconds of a video before it stalls out and sits there unmoving for 10 minutes at which point I give up and close the browser.
