Its official they have decided they wont play it and instead have a news bulliten when they play 10 seconds of it and talk bollocks about why its not suitable to play...... It seems anything that might be negative is banned, we are to PC in our country. apparently theirs a pro thatcher song creeping up the charts if they don't treat that the same then all hell will break loose on freedom of speach etc but knowing our country fuckwits and politicians (same thing really) will come up with some bullshit excuse and censor anyone with a different opinion to them.

Would the americans here beleive me if I said we had to get planning permission to have a flag pole and to agree when a flag and what type of flag can be used and then it can only be flown within certain restrictions so not to "offend others"

England is horrible.
Our doors are open to everyone. Even more so to those connected to terrorism. We have people enter teh country and recruit them. can\t get a visa? np just come illegally, You can stay as long as you like, The battle to get you out will be a long one even if you're filmed promoting "death to the english/ rape the queen"
As children we used to see nativity scenes and people taking their children to visit santa, Not anymore though it "offends" people. Even though santa isnt even a religious icon, He was created by coke.

I had to remove my peircings for wok yet i work with a girl that has a custom made uniform with long sleeves that breaks so many infection control guidelines. I'm looked down on for popping out for a smoke and it is deducted from my lunch break, yet the same girl gets to leave multiple times a day to pray and she still gets her break time and she doesn\t pray i walked past the multi-faith room and heard her on the phone.

we're too sensitive to outsiders demands and desires, Our own culture and beliefs are stamped down with the assistance of those that are meant to safeguard our heritage.
It's not even a case of being racist or xenophobic, Just we are frustrated that the people who are meant to take care of us don't.

Coke didn't create Santa, they just standardized his depiction in popular culture. The fact that he does in fact have roots in so many cultures just makes it more absurd to be offended by him, especially in Europe.

Man, I am getting fucking tired of this financial bullshit.

I called my truck financing company last month and explained I'm experiencing a financial hardship and I need to do something with my payment for the month, maybe put it off or whatever. They worked out a plan for me that had me pay 1/3 of it this month and 2/3 of it next month, effectively skipping one payment. I wrote down the amounts so I could plan my budgeting.

Go to log in today and pay the account and OH LOOK AT THAT, full amount is due.

I mean seriously? I can't pay it, this is why I asked for assistance. Sallie Mae does this crap to me all the time, too. I call these people and speak to a human and work something out and then ... this. I am trying to get back into it all. If this truck thing had worked, I would have been fine. But now it's all fucked up and they're not open until Monday at 0700 .... which means I have to stay up late past work to call someone about something that should have been done already. If I had the money to pay the full amount due, I would just pay it, but the thing is, I don't. I worked this into my fucking budget intentionally. This is ridiculous.

I'm trying to do right by myself and I'm working on making these arrangements, this is called being responsible. I don't understand why this country's creditors can't just work with me when I do the responsible thing and call them to set something up to avoid missing a payment or being late.

Worst case of food poisoning I've ever had last night. Said brb to my voidwatch group at 9:30, and basically was not able to leave the bathroom for three hours. Unrelenting cramping and false/not-so-false alarms kept me from sleeping until 4 am, and even then I wasn't able to stay down for more than 90 minutes at a time until after 8. I'm still so sore. Drinking gatorade and eating apple sauce trying to work my way up to a smoothie. I probably shouldn't even be sitting up right now, but I have so much work that has to get done today.

I seem to have sprained or fractured my thumb. Minor activities such as turning a doorknob and writing have started to hurt quite a bit. Unfortunately, there isn't much I can do for it except try my best not to use it, which is hard considering I have no choice but to work.

What did it to you? I've only had food poisoning once and it was from deer jerky that wasn't dried out 100%. I took a bite and there was some juice in it that corrupted my insides... The same scenario you described...
