First of all I will start the post by saying that I do not have arachnophobia. I dislike handling spiders but only because I'm worried about hurting them by accident.

Okay so for the last couple of days we have been having heavy fog in the morning. I'm talking Silent Hill fog here. You know, the type of fog where you only know you've walked into something because you just said "Ouch".

So I opened up the dustbin that we use for garden waste to find it full of frozen spider webs and frozen spiders while surrounded by Silent Hill style fog.

I wanted to go straight back to bed after seeing that.

The top dangerous spider is The Brown Relcluse Spider. So if you have spiders like that in your area, then I would indeed be worried. The Black Widow comes in 5th place in ranking for the top 5 most poisonous spiders. Simply because the potency of a BRS can actually lead to blindness if left unchecked.

After I pay the rent today I'm going to have $2 in my checking account for the next two weeks. Long story short, I'm getting fucked by my insurance company.

Guess who's going to Amscot today ... I hate cash advances but I have at least a few more bills and I can't let my bank account be negative for that long. I hope my dad sends me money for Christmas.

I'm sitting here again wondering how getting drunk and swearing/yelling at people on Facebook is a good time for my roommate. They can't hear him, but me and the neighbors can.

Its usually political disagreements, too, yet he doesn't vote. Didn't vote for Obama, but he's happy he won.

Did I mention he cooks when he's drunk? I just had to get up in the middle or writing this to push his unattended and burning pork ribs off to the side of the stove, open the front door and back porch door and turn on the living room fan on to high to clear out the smoke because yelling at Facebook is so fucking important. My allergies were already on the fritz from cleaning and now this.

Rejection isn't the worst possible result.

The worst possble result is begrudging acceptance, followed by years of disharmony and resignation, followed by a lingering feeling on your deathbed that you lived the wrong life.

Also, I can tell you for a fact that there are worse ways to get rejected as well.

Yeah, we pretty much meet ever other Monday. A board game night of sort. He joined about a month after I did. Board games have been an...interesting way to fill the void that Final Fantasy XI left behind. The kind of rejection I got was probably the nicest I probably could get. "I'm not really looking to date anyone right now. But I'll see you two weeks!" I'm not really in the market to go steady with anyone either. I just like him so I figured it was worth a try.

I figure I am blowing this out of proportion though. 2-3 times a month is probably more than most adults to spend time with their friends. Yet the only way I can seem to frame that right now is "13 more days..."

Well, it seems you got rejected on a good note rather than a crash and burn one. It seems he did "acknowledge" your feelings towards him but probably didn't want to date, as you said. However if you guys are good friends, despite how awkward it may feel Ketaru, I bet you guys will eventually come to terms on what you both want. Nice to know there are people out there who have a kind heart.
