This was an actual skype conversion while playing Minecraft with an IRL friend this afternoon:

Storm Update:

Local schools are closed, though the models show the storm hitting west of here and into the Gulf, we're still gonna get a shitton of rain, wind, storms, and all else. I can hear the wind starting up outside. This is my first hurricane, not sure it's even going to be that bad but I'm still kind of getting nervous over it.


Another peeve: Call off for tomorrow at work, the 6AM shift. I have to find someone willing to work it since everyone's already pulling overtime as it is. Oh, except the person who called off, she never works more than 40 and constantly complains anyway. Ugh.

I have no peeve today, but I was happy enough to call out of work last night. Legs locked up on me so I had to go to the hospital and get it checked out. My doctor told me the calcium in my legs is like fusing together in my knees which is why my legs are locking up. He gave me medicine for it, I hope this isn't serious. My family has had a history of bad leg issues. I hope I am not getting mine now. Not while working. Has anyone heard of such a problem before?

This time last year I was unemployed, and living for free with a friend of mine. Now just one year later I have a jerb. And a car. And my own apartment. And bills (so many bills). And I feel poorer than I did then. I know I'm not, but I basically never get to do anything but work, go home, sleep, pay my bills when I get paid, fill up the gas tank, and put a bit of food in the fridge. Then I'm out of money again. It's lonely. And without any money I find it hard to meet people. So I desperately need to increase my income, but that's been tough.

So woo. I'm glad to be self-sufficient, but I hate that my life is (apparently) so damned expensive that I have to live paycheck to paycheck.

I know the feeling bro. Though now I have the money to have a life after months of being frugal (and moving), but I work too much to have one.

Peeve: boss lady asking me to do stuff, then going and doing it for me and not telling me, so I become redundant. And look like a tool. Awesome.
