...and fucking THANK YOU, TM. Because of you, I got up from my desk and ran my ass from Terminal B to Terminal A... outside 3 security doors and back in through 3 security doors and a TSA Checkpoint to get to Wendy's before they closed for the night. They close promptly at 8:00 and it was 7:50 when I felt that it was no longer in my power to resist the call of the spicy chicken.
I'm back... and the sammich has been consumed and my craving has been satiated.
Wendy's spicy chicken is great, but I miss their Four Alarm Chicken Sandwich. It makes the Spicy Chicken sandwich seem tame.
Anyway, there's smaller regional establishments I'd rather give my business to even without stupid politics tossed into it. Cook-Out is one, they have cheap, generous and delicious dinner trays. I also like Five Guys but they're a touch more expensive but the burgers are delicious and everything there is made from scratch, veggies are freshly cut and everything. They don't give you dinner in those plastic baskets, though, they always give you a bag and they also overfill the cups of fries by like half a cup so there's a load of fries all around the bag.
Had to learn the hard way about asking for jalapenos on my burger, though. I think I had three glasses of tea and ate all the fries before my mouth stopped burning. Freshly cut jalapenos are a whole different beast from the bottled kind.

I agree with everything you said about 5 Guys up until you suggested that their Jalepenos were hot. I guess it all really boils down to tollerence... but fresh or jarred... I never consider Jalapenos to be ZOMGHOT. Then again... I order Ghost Chilies delivered to my house and have 6 Habaneros hanging to dry from my window in the kitchen as we speak.
I make a stir fry that will burn your tongue off down to the root and a chille that will make your dead relatives tear up.
Interestingly enough... if any of you are into spicy foods, have a look into this stuff. I add it to virtually everything I cook if I'm not already adding one of the 2 peppers mentioned above.

Have you ever eaten a habanero raw? Like the whole thing in one go?
So if that's what spicy food does to people, what's the chemical in wasabi that makes me want to kick the shit out of the person that handed it to me or snuck some in what i was eating?
