It's adorable when British people get all huffy puffy. I just picture you guys in some kind of regal, puffy clothing and powder wigs... reciting your complaints to one another in a drab monotone. Simply...
On the plus side they can't dismiss you in that manner. I don't think any organisation operating in the Uk can. They have to follow the appropriate disciplinary proceedings which has stages, something like verbal warning, written warning meeting with HR.
HR "HAVE" to find a way to assist you in doing your job, If there's personal issues at home they are obligated to find a way that you can maintain your way of living and maintain your duties.
You've not been in that position long have you? Therfore I'm thinking that you have grounds that your superiors have a personal grievance against you or maybe even your dad but taking it out upon yourself.
From the sounds of it your induction has not been given to you correctly. Which I think may be a good slap in the face to them, How can you do your duties correctly when you wasnt taught correctly?
When I was a bitch and moaned on about trust policies and directives that you should be aware of, You have a point to raise the fact that you're not fully informed.
If they do dismiss you without following procedure, Provided it wasnt gross misconduct you could be in for lots of RL gil. A tribunal is one of the last things the nhs would want so they'd pay you off big and fast.
Your supervisor is pissed because you make her targets/stats go all out of whack. The time she's taking to be a (un7 about it all she could be teaching you the ropes like you should have been done in the first place. I'll tell you something, It's not something that I would stand for on my ward. Lol I say my ward like I own it pmsl.
Chances are that you are not the only person that she does this to, I bet she's the last person with a mop in hand and uses red mops in yellow areas. I'd also take a stab that the most work they do is ride along on that ride on floor polisher, if not she's the one that walks round spouting abuse and threats whilst not getting a lick of work done themselves. Delegation is for tw@'s.
I think Union action is required to support you through this bs as it sounds like somebody got a taste of power and grew too big for their boots.
I'm on my way to Tunisia from around midnight saturday, I go from 17th fathers day to the 28th. I'll Try and contact "Big Sue" the supervisor for my ward and try and get her input. I'm not sure our hospital's use the same company for housekeeping staff but I'm sure if anything that the rules and regulations are similar.

Thanks hun.
She's one of them types of people who literally bark out orders, and won't lift a hand in cleaning. She has fag breaks like every hour, which I'm pretty sure they're not allowed O.o
RL Gil sounds good, very good xD
Thank you, you don't have to, but it's completely up to you
Oh btw, have a good holiday ^^ I expect piccies hehe.
Oh I didn't meant to imply you were bad at your job or anything like that.
She could of easily have offered advice to you and support like a supervisor should do.
According to trust policy 100% of Nhs grounds are non smoking for staff. Anybody in uniform or on duty can be disciplined for smoking anywhere in the hospital, Even if it is in the carpark in their own locked car. The trust is slightly relaxed about it if I'm honest but anywhere more than one cigarette in 3 hours is definately slacking off, There is work to be done after all.
Most wards I've worked on have been pretty good with smokers and don't even deduct it from their break. So if she's smoking that much and taking her breaks then she's blatantly abusing her position.
Sorry about all the errors, I've been up over 24hrs covering for flaky girls.
My peeve is PERIODS
Women have been bleeding for the longest of time, If your periods are so crippling maybe it's time to rip out the faulty plumbing. I don't call in sick when I trap my dick in my zip so don't make work for me because you feel like your pussy is falling out. You'd think they had mingerot or something !
Sorry to any women on the forum but we all have worked with these types of girl lol.

It's not just her tbh, all the supervisors go for smokes alot, in uniform with their coats on, just outside the Hospital grounds.
Periods are deffo a peeve, they suck ass big time. I agree with you, if woman complain so much, they shouldn't have the pipes.
I find it quite funny you're peeve is periods, generally men laugh about them and think it's funny we have them xD
My apologies,
I forget that not everbody is as deranged as myself.
For me that's quite tame when compared to me unleashing a verbal volley at people. My Ls learnt the hard way with me on vent allthough now we're casual an social they beg me to come onto skype for the laughs.
I got told I have the mind of a Ho and a mouth like a sewer, Then in the next breath they tell me I'm very sweet and polite.
I'm starting to think I'm posessed by my grandfather, He taught me the words lol
