BLAH! I'm bored! After 3 (or 4?) weekends of hiking in a row, now I'm at home doing nothing. What to do...

I actually could've gone on one Saturday morning, but I did the overnight shift the night before and really didn't feel like dying on the trail.

Went to see a play tonight. It was a good play, but it lasted roughly three hours and did terrible things to my back. Might be time to go back to the doctor again.

So, I have been having jaw pains lately, and its been almost 8 years as I haven't had a means of my own to pay for the appointment....

So, I go in for a cleaning, and X-Rays of my teeth. Fuck... When they where scratching that those scratch thingies... That hurt like hell.... Getting in my gums and shit, as well as the flossing. Fuck!

Then... They say that I have two cavities... Ok, no problem... They put a numbing agent on my gums for the novacane needles. Well, they didn't wait for it to take effect, and shoved the needle in deep. They hit a nerve ending... FUCK! That hurt like hell. Oh yea... Did I mention it was 24 hours since I slept too?

That wasn't it though, they did the first cavity with ease (Well, took them some time compared to saying what they said it would.), then the novacane on the second one wore off, and he started drilling. I almost sat up from the chair from the pain. So, they did some more novacane... That was worse than the drilling! Gah! He literally hit yet A NOTHER nerve ending as he was injecting it.

So, I get out, and now I have to have my wisdom teeth removed as well. Not so bad, as that will help with my jaw pain...

But... I FINALLY get to sleep... Three hours that is... I woke up in HORRIBLE pain in my jaw, literally screaming in pain due to how bad it was. Hyperventilating from the pain alone, I couldn't even talk or move my jaw, or even open my mouth to eat anything as well.

I guess my entire day was a pain, and peeve filled day..

But... the pain slowly went away, and I got some free Blizzards from the Dairyqueen down the street. So... I guess that's something good. lol

I haven't had a day this bad since sometime last year.

I am so miserable right now. I have been working so hard and for what? Every time I feel like I'm doing something right - or at least well - my boss has to find a way to ruin it for me. Every single time. I'm tired of this. I put so much into this place, I trained up half of the personnel and I created a really great training packet. I put in more hours than anyone else for months and for what? To come home and cry with a carton of fucking ice cream? This isn't the way I want to live my life.

I mean granted this wasn't the best of days to start with. The Pens got knocked out of the first round of the playoffs which put me in an instant bad mood, I get to work and I'm flat out told I'll be taking the most difficult radio, for the fifth day in a row, and then just as I'm starting to feel better about my day she has to just throw that fucking knife. And to top it all off, I'm walking out the door from work and I flat fucking eat it on the pavement, and I just sat there in the parking lot for a minute trying not to frigging cry.

What the fuck. I'm so angry because I used to geniuniely love what I do and now I dread going to work. I dread every minute of the time I have to spend in there with her because she finds fault in everything I do. I just want to quit, so badly, and I can't, and she knows it. She has me 100% by the balls. I am so crushed because I love what I do. But I can't love what I do and continue to work this way, with the the beast I can't seem to fucking please. I could go on, but so many shitty things happened today I just want to forget and cry with my ice cream for the night and hope to god that after my day off tomorrow I don't want to kill everyone I know when I go back to work.

Side note: At least a little while after I got home, a friend of mine who saw some of my angry/sad FB posts shot me a text, and at least I feel like someone gives a fuck.

Is "threw a knife" an expression or did a knife actually fly though the air? O_o

My hiccups yesterday may have been the first symptom of irritation from an infection. This morning my entire respiratory tract feels inflamed from chest to sinus, and I've been up half the night coughing up copious amounts of phlegm.

*hugs* askannyi I quit my job and yes I'm still on the dole and trying desperately to find a new one that i can physically do. But I was so close to a nervous breakdown I put my health first and walked and glad I did, yes times are tough with money but I put money away each month which i am using now plus the money from the state I get which just makes sure I can eat and have a roof over my head.

@Takelli - you get a numbing agent before they stick the needle in? lucky! got to go tomorrow as part of a filling came out on saturday and it hurts like fuck got to do an 80mile round trip to my dentist and hope it doesn't cost me to much.

@Cid - Go see your doctor to find out whats going on in their mate, beleive me it'll be worth it, I hope they give you propper scans i.e. MRI's as they are the best to diagnose from.

I'm not trying to pile on here, Aks, but have you considered the possibility that the reason your boss gives you the most challenging work is precisely because you're doing so well? Perhaps it's because she feels that you're the most able to handle it?

Of course, we don't actually have all of the information, but if the facts as you've presented them to us are true, it's something to think about.

Probably. My wife was forced to switch jobs (luckily she was able to find a new one very quickly) so there's a lapse in our health coverage, but I think the old plan still applies until the end of the month. /cross fingers
