Today's peeve is...

Wearing my new work shoes that I bought because they are comfortable and look pretty good with my uniform, Everything was great until I had a man vomit all over them. Also later in the afternoon having a woman's waters break right near me and once more the new shoes get covered.
I think it's safe to say they lost their nursing virginity today.
I've really got to get myself a normal office job.

My office job is driving me nuts right now. I've got some stuff to work on but I just don't want to bother with it. My back's still sore from yesterday and all I want to do is go home and nap. I've at least another four hours of clock-watching to go.

bonus peeve: my body needs to stop waking me up so damn early. When my alarm is set to go off at 7:40 and I wake up before 6:00, it's not amusing. Dammit body, let me sleep so I can be well rested and not feel like ass all day long.

People who take their sweet funking time (about 8-10 minutes) to grab a hold of their *dog trying to have a go at my dog, who suddenly wanted to have a go at that dog (which was a shock, as he's normally friendly towards other dogs). Horrible dog fight waiting to happen. I REALLY wanted to punch the guy, but alas, that's against the law... but then, so is having your dog off the leash!

If Bush hadn't stopped to sniff at something, which normally forces me to turn around (he's very stubborn), I would not have seen the dog run out of the alley across the street (the street is usually busy, but thankfully, there weren't any cars driving by at the time. So at least the lives of drivers weren't at risk). Bush's stubborn attitude somewhat averted a sudden dog attack... but it was still a horrible ordeal and doesn't change the fact the guy was a complete tool for WALKING instead of RUNNING.

At our agency, our group homes are divided in pairs. Both Assistant Managers take turns being on-call. The level 1 on call (us) deals with things like call outs and finding coverage. I think I've ranted about this before, whenever I was on call. Well, this week I'm not on-call but I keep getting calls from my manager and staff to find coverage or come in anyway.

Because the Assistant Manager at the opposite group home of us is an incompetent twit who lets the on-call phone run out of batteries or leaves it on Low volume in the dark recesses of her purse. Countless times she will give the phone to me when it's my turn and it'll be completely out of energy or there will be 5-10 unanswered voicemails spanning throughout the 2 week rotation.

Can never get a break, damnit...

I'm starting to think I'm schizophrenic and your account is one of my personalities lol.

How I regret giving work the details to contact me outside of my working hours. I love how they seem to think I have no family or friends or a life of my own to live. Because when I tell them I can't I already have plans I get given a look of sheer amazement.

My peeve is eating shepherds pie for lunch then going back to work to have to clean up diarrhoea that looked familiar.
I hate my life XD

Fucking Imageshack going premium account ...

I had nearly 2000 images stored in my Imageshack account. I have to cut them down to below 500 or they'll delete all but the 500 most recent images in the account, unless I pay them. What a fucking dick move. So now I'm sorting through all of my images looking for the ones I can get rid of. Some of them are easy to remove because they're just rehosted memes, but a lot of these are pics of my kids that I don't want to lose.

The problem is that a lot of these pics are posted elsewhere. Me doing that would then require me to find where else they are posted and change all of their links. It's fucking stupid. Half the reason for having an Imageshack account in the first place was so I didn't have to hotlink shit.

Think about the link in my sig. If I re-upload all the pics from there, it'll take me fucking forever. And those are only about 100 of the images. Ugh, this is super frustrating. It's just a dick move to suddenly set an arbitrary and frankly low limit after eight years of me having an account.

It would still take forever, but I may have to. I like storing images online because computers have a tendency to die. At least when they're hosted remotely I don't lose everything.

I'm down to 750 images now. Only 250 to figure out by April 1st. >.<

I would save them all the disks if they are special. I know computers tend to die but, its what happens. Save them to disks, or back them up at another online site. You could even put them on SD cards and such.

It sucks when you gotta delete them and even worse when you find an image that has special meaning to you and you need to delete it.
