Peeve: People standing in doorways.

I hate this, especially at college. You're trying to get from point A to point B on time and people just love standing in the doorway to shave minutes off your expected time to be in a class-room. Here's what happens in my mind.

A) There are people talking, I won't be rude and let them finish, although I need to get to class.
B) Say excuse me, but it'd be rude to stop someone's conversation.
C) Walk through them, could cause possible confrontation of I don't say excuse me or hit someone on accident with my bag.

I resorted to B and I got ignored, A wasn't an option since I had less than fifteen seconds to be in class. So option C was my last resort where I moved through and almost got tripped but kept on trucking. Which option would you have picked?

Side Peeve: That Video. That girl sounds like she doesn't speak a lick of "normal" english. It confuses me how cultures merge and form the people they do.

Of course people have to be in the way like that.

I would ask them to move, and if not, then just shove by them, and if they said something. Just say "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize I was going to make you be late for class.", and just walk off.

Firstly: You don't stand in a door way and talk to people.

Secondly: If you do that, expect people to be rude to you for making you wait.

Peeve though:

People who feel like they should hurt other people around them by blasting a bass so loud, it makes my head feel like its about to explode. I work at a gas station, and a customer comes with their car bass so loud, its shaking people's cars, shaking the walls, and making my head hurt like hell. I have sensitive hearing, and basses hurt my head badly. I had a line of customers (Usually get s customer out of line in a few seconds, but I was having issues with the phone card thing. Bleh.), and there where about seven people in line, and I am the only one working at night. Each and every single customer said something about the bass being so loud, and I agreed with them that it hurt my head, and it can cause people to go deaf. The looks that the guy was given was awesome, and his face was just great.

What made it better was when I just said to him, that I have very sensitive hearing, and that the bass is way too loud. Every customer in here said something in line, and they don't want to listen to "thud thud thud" while they wait in line. Neither do I, and it can make you go deaf. Now, next time you come in, I will not give you any service, and will call the police for having it so loud that it shakes the walls of the gas station. Even the dunkin person can not stand it (They work in the back of the store at dunkin, and could hear it perfectly.). So, just pay for the stuff, and leave.

They did, but before they did, they blasted their bass even louder for a few more minutes. A few customers called the cops on him that had walked in and got his license plate.

What I really wanted to say was: Listen up you fucker. You can go around and blast a bass all you like, but think about the hearing loss caused by something so loud like that? It hurts my fucking head to just listen to this CRAP, and hear Thud thud thud, and thats all it is, is just thud. Nothing else! Leave, or I will call the police for disturbing the peace. This is a nice and quiet area of town, and I want it to stay like that.

But, if I had said that, I probably would have gotten shot. XD

Now, don't get me wrong. I like my bass, but not to the point of having it so damned loud people can go deaf, and hurts people's head. I openly say my disgust around people that do that, give people nasty looks to their cars that do that.

I just can't wait for all the people who will start loosing their hearing, and start suing stereo companies for their hearing loss.

Hmmm, I think some of us were complaining about that not too long ago. I'm just perplexed by that behavior, not so much annoyed. I mean, thankfully, we only have to deal with people like that for mere minutes at a red light, right?

It just perplexes me though. They want attention, but is that really all there is to it? One person here replied that they like their music loud. But what is it about that particular genre of music that demands it must be listened to loud? You don't hear people listening to Johann Sebastian Bach that loud. You don't hear people listening to Green Day that loud. You (hopefully) don't ever have to hear Kesha that loud. So why that type of music?

True, but I listen to Rave music all the time, and its not that loud.

but, when it literally hurts you quite badly due to sensitive hearing... Yea.. I have a right to say something.

Now, not to sound racist or anything, and if I offend anyone... Sorry. I have noticed that A LOT of Hispanics tend to do it, as well as Jamacans as well. -Looks across the street from me..-

And that they just don't seem to get that, when reading a critics' review on something like- oh, I don't know- a video game, the review is only one persons' take on piece in question. You don't have to agree with them. Of course, they got their position as a critic because they're probably tons more eloquent than you are (OMGWTF IS WRONG WIT U, THIS IS A COOL GAME AND U JUS DONT GET IT U COCK SUCKING DUMB @$$ ****).

Often, I'll look for reviews of games or movies I've already seen. And even if I don't agree that it deserved a 3/10 or whatever, I can still read it and get some insight. Oh, I didn't notice that flaw in the game! Or something like that. But then there are the defensive fanboys who have taken up sword and shield to defend their awe inspiring works of art that are clearly above any sort of criticism.

Of course...I'm singling out games because gaming has more than the lion's share of fanboys...
