I hate every time I go to Wikipedia there's that damned "appeal" blown up huge for me to see.

That one guy who spends a full ten minutes arguing over the price of his Subway because he was too stupid to read the signs to see which ones were on offer and so was getting charged full price.

Someone was charged £11 (about $18) for ordering a footlong Subway with every single meat on it and then held up the queue for a full ten minutes because he was convinced he would get it with a drink and cookie for £5 (about $8).

The entitled attitude of some people is just saddening really.

The correct response to the above is of course for the establishment to exercise their right to refuse to serve someone and just tell him to get the fuck out of the store. Also they should give said sandwich to any employees who had to put up with him.

Peeve: The end of the year is approaching and my body has decided it will indeed fulfill its quota of "getting sick" this year after all. Time to down a few gallons of orange juice and take a day off from work.

Along those lines, both of my daughters and my wife are all sick. They are on the same meds (though different dosage) and I can practically hear the germs calling my name.

One of my sisters is annoying with illness. If I'm ill there is nothing wrong with me and I'm just being a drama queen even if I'm physically incapable of getting out of bed.

Of course when she inevitably catches it, my life basically turns into this:

EDIT: Funnily enough, said sister IS like Penny from Big Bang Theory. My other sister is like an 11 year old version of Konata from Lucky Star.

I have the default skin in, which is also exactly the same skin as what a play by post Roleplay Forum I frequent uses.

Yes it does lead to the inevitable confusion of "Where the bloody hell have my threads gone?" if I'm not paying attention.

I think that's just a sibling's usual response to the suffering of another sibling.

When I dealt with that, it was when i was recovering from surgery at about 12. Oh, nothing special. I just had a cyst in my brain. I totally faked those X-rays and CAT scans. All a sinister plot to steal attention away from her, obviously.

The sad thing is at 32 she's still a lot like that. World revolves around her, but if it stops for you at all its just not right that it did.

My mom bought my brother a rather inappropriate anime doll that he didn't want, so he shoves it in my room.

I tell him I don't want it in my room, then he says I'm a closed minded dick and I'm way too biased against anime...whaa? I just don't want a naked doll in my room..
