Re: What's your pet peeve in RL?
Has your cat always been peeing all over the place?
My cat would pee in his tray but go to the corner of the room and take a dump. I found out he had a preference to the type of litter inside the tray.
I'd been using the gravel/stone types and the antibacterial/odour containing ones which I found he didn't like. I now use the finer smaller pieced litter now and he seems to love it. I think it feels better under his paws.
Since then I've gone from picking up a dump every 2 days or so to almost a year clear.
Also I have this scoop with gaps in it. to "sift the litter" every day removing lumps. So I can make one fresh tray last about 3 instead of changing it everyday.
After that you can sprinkle some crystals into it to remove odours I forget what they are called though. Personally after sifting his tray I use Bicarbinate of soda for a more natural product.
Cats can be really fussy when it comes to their trays.
