Honestly I think cheating should be punishable by a baseball bat to the kneecaps.

Problem are double standards. Guys getting punished loan shark style would be acceptable, but not so acceptable in the case of women.

So we need an equally acceptable unisex punishment for it. /nod

I think women should be punished the same way. Baseball bat to the kneecaps seems like it'd be effective for both genders anyways. Cheating is pretty much one of the lowest things a person can do, at least in my book.

If I'm to trust someone enough to be committed to that person, and they fuck me over and cheat, they deserve a loan shark style beating.

I wouldn't go that far. If someone cheats on me, I just want them to hurt for a while, and it should be a physical pain accompanied by the mental anguish of knowing that the guy with the bat could be coming back. After that they can go fuck themselves and move on with their life.

As much as I hate cheating, genital mutilation isn't within the bounds of hatred that I'm able to dish out.

Oh, I would. Cheating is the worst thing ANYONE can do to their significant other. Its worse than lying to them and so on.

I believe it should also be punishable by law as well, especially if you are married. If I am with some one, and I find out that they are cheating, it is over right then and there. If I can't trust you enough to know you won't cheat on me while I'm gone, or away for a while, then whats the point in being in a committed relationship, right?

It's human nature to think about being / sleeping with someone else, but as far as acting on it, I think that's acting both childish and selfish as hell.

Or you could take comfort in the fact that at some point in their lives the cheats are going to have something catch up to them.

For my sister's ex, that was getting the second woman he cheated on my sister with pregnant, DNA tests confirming it and subsequently disowned by his family.

For my ex, well, anyone that ends up with her basically gets a racist deportee with tourettes and a pathological liar in one petite package. Looking back, I have to wonder why I was so upset about losing that.

I'm not saying I take joy in the misfortune of such people as that's not terribly nice, but I might get a good chuckle out of it.

Other than the disease angle, I personally don't understand why sexual exclusivity is so important to people.

This is kind of where I'm at right now.

While I haven't completely divorced the two (and am not sure I ever truly could), I do believe in a pretty big difference between sex and love. As such, it's not a stretch for me to regularly enjoy sex with someone I don't madly love, rather, just someone whose company I simply prefer. Rinse/repeat for attractive preferable company as is available.

But anyway, issue with FWB sorted for the non; I know where her head's at, she knows where mine's at, status is quo.



New peeve: my failure to put my foot down and say "no" when I'm offered to go out, knowing full well I need to sleep.
