There was one point in time I was going through a Windows install about every month. It wasn't viruses (most of the time), just odd setting and regedits that went bad. I ended up partitioning my drive to how it is now (even though I've had 2 drives since), with 3 5 gigs for 3 separate installs of Windows, and the remaining going split between programs and media (also separated, though now that I think about it I could probably combine those).
Sometimes I miss those days. Then I break out crying and go to sleep.
My current pet peeve is everyone getting all up in my finances. I can't buy anything, however small without someone getting up in my grill about it. I don't ask any of these people for money, so I don't see why it's any of their business. I mean, maybe they worry that I will if I run out? I dunno.
If I were out buying consoles or books or clothes or something non-essential, I could understand. But I'm talking about things like non-staple food items. I get that I don't have any income (more than they do, I'd imagine), but I can't just huddle inside not eating.
I spend over eight hours a day putting what I see into words. Gotta be specific.
Obviously, you have never met people that make up names for others when calling them, like "Hey, Dude in the Shirt."
Really narrows it down in a crowded room, I gotta say.

That aside, I've come to see that women are stepping up the arms race when it comes to attracting men. They're buying consoles and Call of Duty now, putting this scene in my head:
"Oh, I'm not doing much, just doing my nails in between rounds on Call of Duty: Black Ops."
Seems like a bait-and-switch. And a bit shallow.
At least when I say I want to get a dog to use as chick bait, I still see it has further applications like "someone to talk to, even if it doesn't really understand," "friend" or "house alarm."
