I asked for NO ICE. It even says so on my receipt. THAT MEANS NO ICE.

I don't bomb my sodas back like a shot, I milk them, and when you give me ice, that just waters down my soda and makes it taste like crap.

Fucking idiots.

They do the same thing to me, and they don't like it when I walk back in to get ice if I go through the drive through.

What also annoys me is that they give you an attitude when you ask for no ice as well. WTF!? And they fill it like 3/4 the way with ice as well.

I like my tea with ice because when it melts, its still tea.

I really only get tea when I go out, so I have no trouble with ice. Any sodas I get are usually bottled or canned. There's just no consistency with fountain drinks, sometimes its just too syrupy.

I do hate those places that don't brew tea, though. Fountain tea is nasty and so is any "brewed" from syrup. Bottled/canned tea is nasty, too.

My peeve right now is theatrical movies done on home video cameras via shakey cam. Look, you movie can be scary without them, but its shaking the camera that makes such movies hard for me to watch, not the scary parts. Paranomal Activity is almost just like the Blair Witch Project - shaky cam and people yelling at each other.

Ugh. I am really tempted to start a huge list of all the shit I hate about my job, but that might take me seriously all day. Honestly though, I'm so fucking sick of this place, so let's start with the most annoying stuff. This is probably going to be long and rant-ish and I'm sure I've posted some of it before.

• Crappy computers with IE6, not allowed to update.
• Can't put a personalized desktop background unless it's Coke-related.
• Coworker who thinks I want to listen to Steve Harvey in the morning, especially when I've got my iPod on. (Well I don't think she thinks I want to, it's just that "acceptable volumes" or "headphones" mean nothing to her.)
• Mailroom holding our work until 4:30 when I've done fucksquat all day.
• Operator's constant paging of people, "Please dial the operator..." JFC maybe people are busy dumb bitch that's why they're not answering their phone.
• Shitty program that doesn't recognize apostrophes.
• People who mail stuff for this company are apparently retarded and do not know how to spell simple words like "suite."
• The person who added all these addresses as "AV" instead of "AVE" out of laziness I'd assume.
• Random audits that always seem to happen the day after we get slammed and then we fail and get bitched out.
• Random new stuff that shows up and no one knows what to do with it except the one supervisor who's always mysteriously off when this shit happens...then when she comes back we all get bitched out for doing it wrong.
• Coke tastes like fucking dogshit.
• Can't use my cell phone at all during work, not even a two-second text message.
• Commute. DEAR LOVING GOD I hate my motherfucking commute.
• The fact that it's considered very weird of me to turn on my iPod and essentially tune everyone out all day even though my work is perfectly soloable and I don't need to have inane small talk conversations with people I don't care to get to know.
• Temping = no paid sick time = come to work with migraines = misery = shoot me. Someone. Anyone?

Yeah that will do it for now, I could go on forever with this but seriously. My biggest pet peeve right now is my job. I am miserable here.

It's like my version of Easter eggs. I drop all kinds of perverted lingo into my everyday posting just hoping that someone catches them and gets a laugh out of them. I also do love finding them in others' posts, though. I have told some of my friends that I can turn pretty much anything dirty if I try hard enough.

I forgot when I "prayed" (as it wasn't so much a prayer but a plea to the universe) for someone to bring us food at work, that I should specify that it's something I actually like. Not really a pet peeve, just an unfortunate annoyance of the day. I've gone until lunch without eating before. Not optimal but I can handle it.
