not really. If I decide to go into Akiba, I've got far weirder things to spend money on.

I mean hell, there's a shop here that's pretty much aimed at exactly the sort of person that goes to Akiba. I could be content spending the price of an AKB ticket just buying weird shit there.

Along those lines, partisanship in this country needs to be cast into the abyss. I don't get how people take sides with Republicans or Democrats. I never agree on either with every issue.

The only thing I can make of political ads is that each candidate says the other can't create jobs, that the other wants to increase our country's debt, though the radio station I listen to in the morning seems to have a rather Republican slant on ads. And everybody likes to talk about the economy, but try their best to avoid taking stances on cultural issues. In a way, I'd like to hear more about what they think about cultural issues. I'd be more inclined to vote for Republican candidates if they didn't have this awful track record of falling on the wrong side of Civil Rights issues.

They do need to shut the fuck up really, because we're tired of them sticking to the same ol' playbook. We're talking about illegal immigration and liberals always make it about race because, as we know, every white person hates Latinos. Everything's always about race and the opposing party is full of bigots. But then it's conservatives who enable them to this. Conservative tactics to paint anything they don't agree with as unpatriotic. Universal healthcare? Our beginning down the path of socialism. Obama? Sounds Muslim. LGBT rights? Not in my army!

You just give up listening to politics because, the truth is, there is no candidate for you really.

Yeah. Politics. They suck.

But at least all the talk I hear these days have moved me. I've made a commitment to begin telling people that I'm bisexual, starting with my best friend when he comes back from Germany in January. It's something too personal to tell to somebody over the internet, so I told him I had something important to tell him when he gets back.

The plan was always to just find a good wife one day, but it's only recently dawned on me: "But what if I fall in love with a man?" Hearing over and over things like DADT may or may not be done away with, or gay men being targeted and killed, makes me feel like the life is being sucked out of me and nobody cares, that to keep it to myself any more will just eat me up inside.

So there you have it. You guys are the first to know and I think more-or-less anonymous people on the internet being the first people I tell is pathetic.

Get this, we get bombarded with ads on the radio when we are in the car, we get god damn flyers in the mail, then we get pelted with f**king tv ads.............and then I get on Facebook and my old geezer cousin has decided to bury me in posts about his right wing republican political agenda! SERIOUSLY...FUCK THAT! I can put up with the radio ads...click the radio is off. I can put up with the mail bullshit...rip and into the recycling bin. I can put up with the tv ads....time to change the channel. But when I want to get on Facebook and see what family and friends have been up to, check out any new pictures anyone has posted, or watch some funny YouTube video that someone put up...I do not want so see MORE POLITICAL BULLSHIT. And he doesn't get it either, you try to explain that he can make a new page where him and his cronies can go and blast their political agenda all damn day but he replies "What good will that do? I'm trying to educate the people that don't get it not try to convince people that already do." See ya Don, you won't be missed...you always were a pompous asshole.

Oh and my mentally handicapped godson can do better Photoshopping than your old craggy ass can. Seriously, cutting and pasting my mothers pic onto a brown mottled background and then putting your initials in the corner like a photography studio.....REALLY?

Whew...thanks...needed to get that off my chest....I had a really REALLY bad day. Really....and this little tidbit is like a pimple on the butt of my problems if that gives you any perspective...
