After years of having excellent vision, I had to get glasses (last year) for using the computer here at work. I've now gotten to the point where I have to wear them on the computer at home (which has a larger screen), and for playing FFXI (PS2 version, played on a 43" LCD TV). I keep finding more and more things which are made easier when I wear my glasses.

I'm not sure about this "getting older" stuff. I know it's better than NOT getting older, but oy!

Getting older sucks ass. You might become more "wise" but how wise can you be when you can't remember wtf you ate the day before!? Screw getting older...where is that damn fountain of youth!?

I don't mind getting older, but the thing that would really bug me is if I became a lazy tard who can't stay in shape.

There's nothing I hate more in this world than older people who know they have to exercise more than any youngster, yet they spend their days sitting on a couch the entire freaking day!

Exercise an hour grandpa! You aren't doing anything anyway!! Or something like that...

I mean I understand how tiring it is to work and to do stuff to support a family, but when kids grow up and you eventually have more free time there's no excuse not to.


PS > Worst part? They blame their age for moving like a freaking slug, but I've seen many 65+ year old guys who actually stay in shape and who are stronger than any 20-30 year old you see around. So except for a nasty crippling disease there's no excuse. orz

That I have a canker sore on my bottom lip that lines up perfectly with where my chipped tooth rests when my jaw is totally relaxed, and that every time I open or close my mouth, my tooth and its jagged edge rubs against it, irritating it.

My pet peeve is people trying to be all cool and stealing information they have no reason to have. Had to cancel my credit card, which is what I used to order XIV (so now have to rectify that in the morning), and get a new one.

My pet peeve right now is friends who want to be more than friends. I am in such an awkward position with three different people right now, and it's like, I just want friends, damn it. Why do people have to complicate things by wanting more?

It's not like there aren't other guys out there worth dating. I am not all that special. Please stop pressuring me to be something I don't want to be.

Current peeve...

When a place calls you on your cell phone about an application you put in, and unable to answer. Then when you try calling back, the manager seems to always be "busy"

I just had one of those snap-to moments while attempting to nap. Stupid spider.

Now it looks like a cat attacked my arm, but it was just a big scratch by me when I sprung up.
