All the "security features" that come with Internet Explorer 8 on a Server 2008 machine. The damn thing locked me out of the firewall. I had to remote into a server 2003 machine just to fix the thing. Still googling for instructions on how to gut IE 8.

I always leave plenty of time when I use the freeways in case of an accident blocking traffic. What I cant stand is when the accident is on the other side of the freeway but people on my side slow down to get a peek. Traffic is backed up for a few miles and when you finally get to where the accident should be, it is on the oppisite side of the freeway and traffic picks up just pass the scene.

People that don't live in your state, but have more information than the people who live there... Canada had an earthquake which was felt in parts of Michigan, and my brother, who lives in Maryland, sent me and my cousin an email asking "Did yall feel the earthquake?" I didn't know what he was talking about and I said "What earthquake?" It was about 10 mins before the stories even popped up as headlines on google.

I actually had somebody here thinking that was just somebody on the roof or something ... and I had been searching for info on the earthquake for a while. The funny thing is, I came across a blog post by some "crazy earthquake guy" from this morning, and it's turned into "did you feel that?" all over. Really, that wasn't exactly a small quake...

Hey guys, let's celebrate a huge milestone in our company and invite a bunch of corporate bigwigs from home office (New York) to come speak to the entire Florida branch of the company if 700ish people. But we gotta make sure that we do it at the hottest part of the day, in June, outside. Okay?

I am sticky and gross. While the free food and the bullshitting around (and getting paid for it) was good, goddamn, that sucked. I guess I understand that they can't help what time of the year we achieve milestones like that but we couldn't have gotten a hall or something?

People who don't put things back like they found them...My dad went out to do some work on my A/C system in my car yesterday. The retrofit nozzle (Place where you connect the freon) has a cap that fits over it. This guy removed the retrofit nozzle, took the cap off, and didn't put the cap back. Today I come home fired up to get freon in my system because it is hot as hell here, and there is no cap on...Problem is that I didn't realize it until I had filled the system with freon. -_- Hopefully it doesn't all seep out by the end of the day.

My house randomly shaking and thinking its a structure issue and examining every nook and cranny until you give up 2 hours later to find out it was the after shock from an earthquake in Canadeia Land.

Ya I got irritated today with people saying "Did you feel that quake?" Um...ya...IT'S A THOUSAND MILES AWAY YOU ASSHAT!! NO YOU DID NOT FEEL IT! I was in the same building, the same room, at the same time so do not try and tell me you felt that freakin thing when I didn't. Honestly, its on the news 20 mins after it happens and THEN everyone says they felt it.

I am with Aksannyi on the heat. I live downtown, which I love. But all that pavement just reflects the heat back at you. It's great for helping me to sweat while I jog, but less so when I'm meeting a date for dinner, and I'm trying not to be soaking wet when I arrive.

The office I work in is in a converted terrace house (built around 1880) so its cold int eh winter and like now when its 25C and 70% humidity, uncomfortable as fuck in teh summer. I blinds shut, desk fan on (air con is expensive in teh Uk so we don;t have it) and typically I had to wear a blue shiirt as all my white ones are on teh washing line at home. Tonne of Lynx still doesn't stop the sweat patches from showing >.<

Wow, you'd never make it here. Try 40C in the summer and at least -10C in Winter.

Well, I guess it depends on the work. I've almost always worked in a cubicle farm, and you can't look at each other (or anything else) there. Just the same boring, cloth covered walls. Forever.
