I tried to convince my Mom of this. My reasoning? I'm alive, I perceive things. The world happens to be part of my perception. When I die, they no longer exist in my perception, so do they even exist anymore? Not to me they don't. So as far as I, or anyone else knows, you're all part of my dream and when I wake up you were all just figments of my imagination. Have fun!

LoL Yeah, my mom didn't much care for me in Highschool lol. I was a pain. Still am. Called her today and told her I got fired, and my gf is pregnant so I needed money.

Hopefully she didn't take Philosophy 101 too... .. . . I loved that sh!t, but it just don't pay the bills. Don't get into how the bils are figments of my brainiac too.

I rediscovered my cache of good AMVs from the days when people doing them actually put effort into making them good because it was a bitch to create one.

Now I'm screaming at YouTube for being pissy about audio tracks.

There's one AMV that I hold as the standard for excellence, but it has disappeared off the face of the internet. I wanted to fix that, but no...
I could look into other video upload sites, but I really don't feel like creating a bunch of user accounts only to find out it's the same situation on all of them.

Okay, I really fucking hate it when I get a call from a company - in this case, Sallie Mae, through which I am paying student loans - and an automated voice tells me to hold.

Excuse me? If I wanted to sit on hold, I would have called you. If you're interrupting my day, you'd better be prepared to fucking talk to me because sitting on hold is a waste of my fucking time.

I will continue to hang up on them until they actually have a person ready to talk to me the second I answer the phone.

Or you get a toll free number and when you answer it no one is there. If you sit on the phone for a few minutes someone eventually gets on but why in the hell should I sit around waiting on your ass? I don't know how these numbers are getting around my privacy manager but they do and its annoying. Might as well cancel the damn service since its not doing that its supposed to.

Well I thought it might be important because it was from Sallie Mae, through whom I have a fuckton of student loans. I've been paying them but it's something I want to keep on top of. But if they're going to make me hold when they need me, they can go to hell.

They could be contacting their customers in the regard to the repercussions of the health care "reform" legislation. Yes, there was student loan stuff in the health care reform bill.

Remember, Nancy Pelosi said we "have to pass the bill to find out what's in it."

We're finding out what's in it.

It might be impersonal to call your customers and then put them on hold via an automatic system, but even so I tend to hold for the call because its usually something important when a company does so.
