I'm sitting in the break room at work, in which we have one TV that plays only the news channel and can not be changed.

That I don't mind. What I do mind is how fucking loud it is. I have my iPod on and I'd like to hear it. And naturally, there is no way of turning it up or down that us mere employees are capable of. Drives me fucking crazy.

Get one of those Universal Remote watches. That way you can control the volume and nobody will know what is happening unless you tell them. I had one back in highschool and I used to drive a few of the teachers crazy with it LOL. She had no clue who was doing it so she accused one of the students, who knew I had the watch, of hiding a universal remote. lmao

OMG this SO reminded me of this guy my husband worked with. My husband was talking to him in the break room and he said that his g/f wanted to have phone sex. He worked 2nd shift and she worked 1st shift. I guess their sex life was suffering so she wanted him to have phone sex while he was at work. He had the job for it since he was skilled trades and could slack off and roam the plant to find a nice quiet area. My husband warned him about this. He didn't tell the guy details but he knew about people getting caught having sex in and outside the plant. (I worked there briefly and damn near got caught in one of the executive offices! They are pretty vigilant!)

Well the guy decided to check into it so he brought up casual conversations with the guards/security and got some info. He came to the conclusion that there were 3 places in the plant that they didn't check up on so he told my husband he was going for it. Well, he did, loved it, g/f was happy, and all was well with the world....or was it? Two weeks later he got called upstairs where they showed a surveillance tape of him having his "fun". While he found a conference room that wasn't under surveillance, the room outside of it was and the camera was positioned to catch the interior of the conference room. I knew the guy and when I found out I never laughed so hard in my life. The smartass guard even offered to give him a copy to show his g/f. lololololol

Ya....they are ALWAYS watching....or they go back and review tapes! lol

Yeah a couple got caught a few weeks ago, making out in the parking lot. Yes, even the damn parking lot! The only place in our company that doesn't have cameras are the bathrooms (but there are cameras positioned right outside the doors so they can see if men are going in the women's room and vice versa) and the elevators.

Kicker about those two that got caught: one of them is married. I don't think anything happened but a talking-to, but then again I don't really know. The guy I'm seeing is also a coworker (it probably happens a lot more than people think) and while everyone in our department knows we're close (and probably suspects) there's no proof so there's nothing anyone can do. As it is, most companies don't care as long as you're not blatantly groping each other or sneaking off during company time to hide in a broom closet.

But I digress. I don't mind the cameras. Except when I want to do something I could get in trouble for. Guess that's what my free time after work is for.

LOL Ya I remember walking out of work one day and we had to go through security by our door. The guards were huddled around a monitor laughing. Me and a friend asked what was so funny and they said to come look. There were cameras up on the light posts in the parking lot (this parking lot is over 2 acres too) and two guys had parked way out by the railroad tracks and was having sex. As we were leaving, they started laughing really loud because they sent the new guy out to break it up and he had just arrived.

Yes, I was young, stupid, and thought I was in love. My face was never caught on camera so I didn't get fired but I was the only blonde working in my section on that shift. (I was wearing a uniform from that section so thats how they pinned that down.)

TGM I want to thank you for always posting the POL phone number which leads me to my next peeve...

I was trying to call SE to unlink my security token from my account (It has been lost for awhile now lol) and I'll be damned if I couldn't find the number anywhere on playonline's site! Not only that, but I couldn't even find the web chat to work. Ended up running a search in the forum and found the number listed in one of TGM's many posts. All is now well.

LOL Ya I need to do a search of my own for it. Having a computer issue with my new computer and the network so when I'm on my work computer I can't access my files on the other computer. Sometimes need to post the info and now I can't access.....and now I even need to call them myself and only remember when I don't have access to that computer! lol

Y'all should just save their number to your cell phones. You're likely to use the cell phone to call them since they are retarded and don't have a toll free number anyway, so might as well just store it and save yourself the hassle. lol.

I always check my facebook when I get home from work because of course it is blocked there. I got home today and found a message from my ex-girlfriend's brother. I say "Oh, I wonder how he is doing." only to read the note and realize ">_> oh shit... its from her..." Anyways the ex who I haven't spoken to since 2008ish sent me this message to my inbox:

Hey This is Andrea. How are u? Im afraid to call u because I know ur mad at me but U should be. I just wanted to apologize to u and hope u accept my apology. I have been trying to get in touch with u to talk. People make mistakes Arick and I just want u to understand I did. Please call me so we can talk. <her number>. P.S. I moved back to my moms so Im in flint.

Now mind you I blocked her facebook account awhile back because she kept trying to send me friend requests, otherwise she would've sent the note from her own account. She only wants to talk to me because it is now convenient for her, and I told her a long time ago that I wasn't somebody that she could just put down then pick back up when she feels it is a good time for her.

Stick to your guns kiddo. Plenty of fish in the sea! Had a cousin that did that, contacted me through his sisters account since I blocked him. I swear Facebook is more trouble than its worht sometimes.
