Figured we needed one of these, because RL > FFXI.
Anyways, this was inspired by two strong ones I can think of at the moment:
1. People who mispronounce stuff, though, I won't hold it against the good folks at LBR . . . unless, of course, they totally butcher something that should be absurdly easy (which has happened before), and that's pretty much my opinion of the world at large. This morning, however, sent me in to a whirl of fury when somebody had the audacity to say "exetera."
2. The people who made CSI need to DIAF. Seriously. For so many reasons, as well. Or, at the very least, the specific people who made it so popular. But, I'm pretty sure everybody here already knows how notoriously inaccurate/flashy they can be. I just thought about it for some reason, and, when combined with peeve 1, I thought of making this thread. This particular peeve also applies to most all television nowadays, as well, but for different reasons: call it a peeve for another day.
I have plenty more, so this OP isn't all you'll be hearing from me. But, for the time being, what sends you in to a rage that would make a berserker envious?
(Mandatory pre-emptions:
Murphie, you can't say how old you are as a peeve, because that feeling's almost universal; plus, you already express it well enough with your current avatar.
Feba and Mhurron, neither of you can say "everything;" you both have to be more specific, or, at the very least, cover each of every thing one at a time. Preferably over a long period of time.
Anti-Smart-Alec clause: the restrictions placed upon Murphie, Feba, and Mhurron apply to everybody else, as well. So does the opposite of Murphie's restriction, as in, if you are a child, you can't rant about how young you are; you'll easily outlive it, and miss it all before you know it, anyways.)
