I had an Xbox Live account from beta. I had quite a few achievements but my son started using my account and wanted it for his own. I eventually gave in because I bought another 360 so I let him buy the old one and the account....and yes Feba I did make him pay. lol At first I was like....nooooooo my achievements!! ....but now I really don't care. They don't really make my life any better so what's the big deal. The only issue I had was that I had games that were linked to that ID so I had to log into his account on my 360 in order to finish them. Of course, this meant i could only play at certain times so it sucked. You can not transfer the information with a memory card.

I can see her August 31, but also happens to be when both of us start our college semesters again.

Day after my B-day! That weekend I'll be going up to Mackinaw/St. Ignace with my gf.

How old is she though? Sounds like her parents are kind of overly protective over her. How did you meet?

Then just don't bother trying to get them. Why not play the game for the fun, and not play the game for the trophies.

I made a rule for myself many years ago, "I can only use cheat codes/walkthroughs after I have beaten the game"

I only go after Achievements/Trophies after I have completed the game. Thats why it take me forever to put a game down. Second time is try to get everything possible.

I personally blame FF3(6). After I beat the game, I was told by friends about cool things they done/found in the game. Then I played again trying to find/do everything. Like getting all of Shadows past CS when you sleep in different inns in the game, finding GoGo, getting all Gau's mob attacks, getting Strego's blue magic abilities, etc.

For open ended games I create saves at certain points (usually before a new chapter/act or points of no return) so I can go back and get all the trophies after I have beaten the game.

I remember when they where played for fun, not for the trophies, or even Epeen.

It is kind of sad you think that is true. I sure a very small percentage would start playing a game just to get the trophies or epeen.

Ya I have OCD with games. I MUST do everything, get every ending, etc. Now couple that with I have a problem beating a game because I get to the end boss and I stop playing. I've been working the past few years on this and I recently beat a couple games *gasp* AND I even didn't get every item, quest, ending, etc. *double gasp* FYI, it's a huge peeve! lol

I MUST complete a game, even if it is many years later...*cough* Koudelka *cough*. Love that gothic horror PS1 game. Finally beat it about a year ago.

Being told by my lead "We're having a meeting with the manager"... the three of us. And being told when I ask what it's regarding the answer is "General stuff" ... so all I'm left with thinking is, cuz this place/manager has made it ez to be paranoid, that it's gonna be a big ole harping-on-the-boy-fest. No one else knows either and wonder the same thing cuz nobody wants to have a "meeting" with this moron/manager.

I can't wait til I can leave this job. I need the medical atm, and the 401k is a damn good savings for moving far far away. If it wasn't for my damn back, I'd be gone.

Yeah, I went and bought the Shadow Heart trilogy after completing Koudelka. It is on my big stack of games I need to complete.

Younger sibling butt-fucking the internet connection to stream crappy television shows while I'm trying to play FFXI. Bitch doesn't even have the decency to pirate the damn things and store them on a harddrive ahead of time. Five second lag time is not acceptable. Ever!

Totally agree. I was broadsided by a SUV on my motorcycle partially because of people that insist on not following parking regulations.
