This is a pretty darn good friend I'm talking about, here, though. What I'm afraid of is that maybe I haven't been the good friend, maybe I have asserted my presence a bit too much which is prompting the "leave me alone" sentiment. Or maybe "leave me alone" is simply indicating a desire to genuinely be left alone for the time being, and I've not been respecting that lately.

I just don't know. I really do think it is me, though, because I tend to not be very . . . perceptive, historically speaking, when people try to subtly put me down. I mean, there's one story involving me and this friend of mine in a situation where I was absolutely oblivious to what was trying to be implied . . . I was in a perpetual state of depression for days!

I think this is just another thing that falls under the category of "Pet Peeve: myself."

If you're getting the feeling this friend wants their space, that's most likely what you should give them. Just stay away from them for a while, find other people to interact with, other shit to do with your time.

When they're ready for your company again, they'll let you know.

I'm starting to hate the colors Red and Blue on Black backgrounds when I look at monitors. Maybe its just my eyes, but I get a 3D effect from it.

People who bring their kids to the movie theater who don't know how to shut up! This damn kid that was in my row apparently didn't even know how to whisper and he had the nerve to have a talking fit. At one point his mom yanked him up and said "If you don't be quiet, we're leaving!" I almost yelled "YEA HURRY UP!"

If you are sitting in the last 5 seats of a row in a movie theater, you might want to make sure nothing is in the way except your feet. I mean seriously, my size 15 PF Flyers cannot strafe, so if you expect me to walk sideways over your shit it will be broken. Especially in theaters where they have free refills, you know people will be walking thru lol.

Kids who text or even have their phones on in the movie theater. DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND HOW BRIGHT AND ANNOYING THAT IS IN THE DARK?! IDGAF what your reason is, when you get into the theater turn that shit off or stay your ass outside the movie theater.

The top two happened when I was watching Iron Man 2, so you know I was miffed lol.

I did that back in my college days. There weren't any teenagers, but a few college students, a bunch of old people, and their young grand kids. Most of the young kids would sit in the very front so I'd have most of the back to myself.

I remember one time I went to see some movie that just came out, and I went to like the 1:00PM show. When I got in there it was just me and an old lady in there, so I sat in a row that was a few rows behind her in the absolute center of the screen. The lady turned around and said "Now if there is any popcorn being thrown at me, I know who did it!." Then another guy came in and said "Wow there are no seats left! Where should I sit?"

I just go on Tuesdays now if I go at all. My theater has popcorn and drinks for $1 each that day.

I hate popcorn, though, so I hit the dollar store for candy before I go.

Yeah, I avoid the movie theater on fridays and saturdays for that very reason as well. All the stupid little emo kids show up to watch the latest movie and pretty much go about acting a fool while waiting for the movie to come on. Don't these whippersnappers have curfews?

My college gives out movie passes regularly or has free early screenings. They are usually at odd times and there are rarely any young kids which is nice. Though it can get quite rowdy at some movies, the early screening of Ironman 2 was like that. You should have seen the response to that trailer for the new sequel to those Twilight vampire movies.

Thank God they didn't show those! Lol they showed a teaser trailer for a new JJ Abrams and Steven Spielberg project called Super 8, and the new Shrek trailer.
