ARGH!

Paying extra for 2 day shipping only to have them process your order so slowly that it ends up shipping late and getting delayed by the weekend not counting as business days. Fuck paying for two day shipping and being made to wait four days. I want my money back.

I've kept quiet for about a month now... silently stalking the forum to amuse myself and read everyone's opinions without chiming in. It figures that something Neverslip posted would provoke me to say something. (Don't misread the following as sarcasm... it's not... I agree w/ Neverslip... as usual). With that said... this goes out to all of you who talk politics in gaming threads:

TGM, you were right about it taking some time to adjust to trackballs. The Internet Fairy brought me one of these today: Newegg.com - Logitech Trackman Marble USB Wired Optical Mouse
It feels great, but I'm going crazy trying to find the right sensitivity settings. It's definitely going to take some time before I achieve the same precision with this thing as I have with my old mouse.

Interesting, I could have sworn the majority of such discussion was in "Off Topic" which, you know, do not have to pertain to things that are gaming. You don't have to read such discussions if you don't want to, nor do you have to right to dictate what the rest of us may wish to talk about.

In short, deal with it. You alone are responsible for how your escapism is managed. No one owes you any favors in that regard.

Maybe so. Yes, in off topic areas I totally understand and promote such discussion... but those are not the threads I'm talking about, tyvm. It's comparing in-game shit (ffxi & ffxiv) to RL political shit... Then drenching the viewpoint (and that's all it is... merely opinion and NOT fact) in undue hubris.

I was once in a "What's your pet peeve in RL" thread recently and a wise man once said:

nor do you have to(the?) right to dictate what the rest of us may wish to talk about.

Which is why I said something in the Pet Peeves in RL thread" and I didn't go off on that person in the actual thread to stop bringing up politics... unlike someone I happen to see telling me what I can and cannot complain about in a Pet Peeves in RL thread.

Pet peeve, I'm a little tired of Darrell Waltrip's opening line when the green flag drops at the beginning of each race. I have started to mute the t.v. as the cars start approaching the starting line and a few moments afterward.
