Incompetant electricity companies who wont fucking listen and can't follow simple things and think I have used 640KWH (thats leaving a kettle on 24/7 for 30 days.) in 15 fecking days, and I only read into the company and seen the horror stories I will now be facing

The thing is, she will always put the disclaimer before it. "I'm not racist, but ..." always means they're going to say something incredibly racist. I tend to shy away from confrontation in general because I have the tendency to fly off the handle and the last thing I need is to show my coworkers my temper (because as much as this job sucks sometimes, I do need it). But it's so hard sometimes to just ignore it when she says something really shitty.

The few times I've tried to argue it she's just drowned me out with her claim that she isn't racist, so she's not willing to hear it anyway. Ignorance at its finest.

Anyone who claims to not be racist is a lying sack of shit and should be identified accordingly.

Paypal attempted to transfer $480 from my bank account. Of course it wasn't the company, but I got the e-mail, and it sure as hell wasn't me. I gave them a call, changed my password, and called my bank. The charge is pending, so they have to wait until it completes before they can do anything about it.

Frankie may have just killed my interest in the Halo series, at least the multiplayer anyway.

So evidently because a bunch of crybabies whined on twitter, they're removing armor abilities and loudouts from 5 and going back to the classic Arena shooter style across the board (rather than making that a specific playlist type so that both crowds can enjoy the game how they like).

'cause you know, screw progress and trying new things. Nope, let's go right back to generic space marines with no personality or distinguishing features. Everything I loved Halo 4 for just tossed right out the fucking window.


Glad I haven't bought an XB1 yet.

I enjoyed it more when it was about skill rather than chasing a carrot on a stick and being shot to death before getting to do anything cool. I have always preferred winging it with what is on the field than having a loadout, because the ability to improvise is a learned skill and forced people to eventually put down the damn sniper rifle and maybe capture the flag for once.

THANK GOD you have every other fucking shooter doing that pseudo-RPG crap in it.

That aside my big peeve right now is a bunch of morons are trying to "save" gaming and gaming journalism by advocating it be like TMZ. Allegedly an indie developer slept with some guys that were reviewers and she did it to get favorable reviews.

You know, which totally explains her game, Depression Quest, sitting on Metacritic for a year and a half with no major site reviews, no metascore and wouldn't you know it? A flurry of user Metabombing just in the last two days.

Nope this doesn't reek of obsessive personalities/manchildren out to witchhunt a self-proclaimed feminist because she said words. Nope, no sir, this us a genuine outpouring if concern for the indusrty.

She is a person that is making an ongoing a video series called "Tropes vs Women in Video Games" that attempts to showcase instances of misogyny in video games.

It is not an objective series, and portrays gamers negatively, and it got a lot of Kickstarter funding leading to a number of backers, many of which are gamers, feeling mislead that they funded such a project.

She was recently forced out of her house by threats of rape and violence.

What you need to know about Zoe Quinn

She created a text based adventure game called "Depression Quest", a game that is free and available on Steam.

It has not received coverage from games publications due to it appearing to a very niche demographic.

It has been spammed with constant negative reviews on Metacritic and Steam by users that have an extremely short amount of time played.

Many of these reviews do not discuss the game in any way.

She has been threatened with death threats and threats of rape.

What you need to know about this whole mess

Twitter is the most idiotic place to stage a debate due to the character limit, you can only deal with short statements so cannot write out a well thought out and researched argument.

It is perfectly fine not to have a strong opinion.

People deserve to have an opinions and create video games without fear of being murdered or raped.

People deserve to point this out and call people out on this shit without being branded a "Feminist" or "Social Justice Warrior."
