Sending someone a decently important message, and, though you were just talking, having them not reply, causing me to start playing possible situations that might cause them to either not reply, or their reaction to the initial message, only to receive a "Lol" as a reply.
I didn't think making Naruto references, writing oneself into anime fanfiction, and speaking random Japanese out of context, were behaviors that even the most fanatic teenage otaku carried into adulthood. But somebody joined our board game group and...well...I stand corrected.
Oh, the awestruck look on his face when somebody came by, saw his Naruto card sleeves and asked, "Is that Dragonball Z​?"
Eww I hate when people write themselves into fanfic, or their friends. I don't mind OCs as long as they work in the context of the source material, but when you have a 15 year old girl in a crime procedural (unless she's the victim, and no one is going to write themselves in as the victim), it's a little awkward.
As someone who has recently had to work in a building that was extremely likely to fill with water due to having to work during a hurricane, I empathise with the wet feet thing.
