^ I always hated that. Every time I asked too it was some bullcrap about not being able to turn the heat on until mid winter or something I forget.... it was always some ridiculous excuse.

Well it's 52 (F) and that's Florida cold. Air conditioning is not necessary, however air flow is. There must be a way to let air flow throughout the building without freezing us all. And we really don't need the heater, either, so we're basically fucked.

Also, I work in a concrete/metal box, so it's not like we could just open windows or something. Ugh.

And now today after cleaning up my PC from some crappy virus that was messing with my XIV launcher, my PC decides to crash several times. Yay, the fucking random PC crashes that drove me batshit for the previous 6+ months are now back.

I fucking hate my life.

Had to deal with a couple of my fucking idiotic ultra "by the book" colleagues causing a ton of unneeded red tape to get a body released even though the whole time, the body was fine to release because the Coroner was perfectly happy with the cause of death.

Basically what my colleagues did was refuse his request three times in a row because it didn't appear on the Coroner's List, even though nothing needed to be reported because he was happy with the cause of death, and the release could go ahead.

So I basically had to deal with the son of the deceased who just wanted his mother's body released so he could bury his mother, and him understandably being very upset and distressed at not being able to bury his mother, because the release of her body had been stuck in limbo for a week. Please note that the Coroner's Report noted that he was happy with the cause of death and the body could be released at any time.

So basically this man, instead of being able to bury his mother over a week ago, had to spend an entire week thinking that something horrible had killed him mother when it was simply natural causes and we could have sorted everything over a week ago.

I hate my colleagues sometimes.

Well I graduated in '05, so that's almost ten years now plus we were never actually dating. It was a weird relationship but we were in high school and pretty stupid at the time. No she's not single. That's part of the problem. I don't want to be having these feelings while she's in a long term relationship with another guy. It feels disrespectful and rude, but more importantly it's a road I've been down before and it doesn't end well.

I'm not really interested in actively pursuing a relationship. I don't think it's something I need in my life right now and I know it's not something I'm up to maintaining at this stage of the game. It's part of the reason I'm not responding to what I suspect is a coworker flirting with me(the other part being that dating coworkers is a fucking death trap).

Yeah I'm in a similar boat, only it's a childhood friend whom I was engaged to for a while. She's currently married, though seems to still have feelings for me. Can't really press the issue though, it's more or less on her. It's such a complicated mess I don't like to get into it X.x
