I can't imagine the mentality of someone who actually wants to go out amongst huge crowds of other human beings. Most of the time I can't even stand to be around more than two of them.

Slash shippers are fucking weird. Unless the homosexuality is established in canon, it's honestly just disturbing. And what makes people write that stuff? Clearly they ship it, or they wouldn't write it, but where do you see in the history of two very straight people that they would suddenly become attracted to each other? Ugh.

PS Plus is on sale for $30 today, but only in the U.S.?! Da fuq is that nonsense? And the PSN Store is down as well, probably because PS4 just launched in the EU today. Wonderful... bloody asshats. Tired of getting screwed over at retail just for being Canadian.

I bought a PS4 and don't feel screwed over in the slightest, and I'm also Canadian. If you REALLY want to be screwed over at retail, trying buying things in the UK, or AUS.

The fact is we get charged more though for almost everything simply because we're Canadians.

We also make slightly more as a baseline than people do in the states, so it kind of off-sets having to pay a few dollars more for things. Being left out of a region-specific sale or deal on things doesn't really equate to having to pay more simply because we're Canadian. I was serious before though, ask Firewind how much a PS4 is going to set him back, or anyone in AUS who wants to buy a new AAA game. I sure as hell am glad I didn't have to pay $600 for a PS4.

Not really. We pay more in taxes which negates that, and our dollar is nearly at parity. Market Place ran a special 2 weeks ago showing just how crazy some of the price differences are - even Halls, which are MADE IN CANADA, cost 88% more here. Why? Because Canadians will just pay and not make a fuss - it's an unwritten rule to simply charge us more literally just because they can.


I don't like the current govt, but at least they're promising to put an end to this BS once and for all and get equal pricing on goods here.
