You're parents had sex, its a fact. What's more, they had sex for reasons other than procreating. There's a good chance your parents are still having sex, either with each other or with other people. Its a fact of life. The had thing to deal with is knowing your little sister is having sex.

You don't have to think about your parents having sex, you just have to realize that your father penetrated your mother, repeatedly, likely at regular intervals for an extended period of time, and it was quite enjoyable for him, and possibly for her as well.

To follow up Caspian's comments, also remember that there are very good odds that at least one of your parents didn't want you very much. If not you, one of your siblings.

They'd almost certainly have better lives without you.

I know my parents had sex. It is one of those facts of life. It's just one of those things I'd prefer to live in glorious ignorance about. If you knew my mom, you'd know why that is. Trust me, none of you wanna think about my mother having had sex either.

I'd say that's a fair statement for anyone really. No one wants to think about their folks getting it on... save possibly for anyone born to teen parents who would still be fairly young and sexy when they got older, but then that just opens up a whole new world of Freudian horrors.

My bank refuses to let me buy stuff from GOG without calling them up beforehand. They won't let me whitelist them. The workaround is to get an honest to god credit card. I think it's pretty telling that what finally made me break down and apply for a credit card is my financial institution getting between me and my video games.

On the one hand, I'd appreciate that they're trying to protect you from fraud, but on the other hand, they should be willing to let you whitelist certain merchants if you trust them.

Their system apparently doesn't do whitelisting. When you call them up to authorize the transaction they're basically turning off all the protections for a given period of time while you make the transaction. I yelled at a number of people today, but yelling at shitty software doesn't get you anywhere

When I go to Mexico I have basically the same thing - hell, I think even if I leave the state now - and I have to call them before I go to let them know I'll be gone and for how long so I can use my debit card in Mexico.

This is SOP, any time you are going to a new country you should either let your bank know, so they don't assume your card info has been stolen, or carry cash and forget about the card. I do this every time.

Oh I know, it doesn't make it any less annoying to have to get through their hold queue and tell them though. And I really don't like cash. Once it's gone, that's it. And although I like my ex's family, I don't really trust everyone they associate with, and wouldn't put it past a few of those shady motherfuckers to go through my purse and steal my money while I'm in the bathroom or something.
