I have been poking around with this thing on and off for over a month and I still have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. The boss really wants us to be able to implement and use this thing, but it's horribly unintuitive and poorly documented on top of being niche software. I need a fucking Hello World tutorial for this thing.

God fucking damn it, I hate people who chew gum then fucking spit it on the ground. I stepped in it and it was 80+ today where I live, so imagine a freaking sticky, warm piece of gum to the bottom of my shoe. -_- Thank you Boston pedestrians.

Making absolutely zero progress on implementing some software and then having my employer decide to bid me on a contract that involves said software. Yeah, I'm sure that interview will go well.

"Well I spent the better part of a month trying to extract the most basic functionality from it and was unable to do so."

I wear so many different hats my own company doesn't even know what my official job title is half the time, but basically I'm the IT guy that's holding the company's network and servers together with duct tape and positive thinking. Some days that just means making sure there are no viruses on the workstations, other days it means configuring a new router or firewall and sometimes it means I get to try to figure out how to implement automated compliance checking software to scan a network because the boss saw a contract that involved that. And then there's the days where I just do manual labor because the boss refuses to throw anything out and insists on moving things into a storage closet that's already full of old coffee makers and Windows 95 install discs.

I get so mad at myself for being dumb. I thought I had two assignments due tonight, turns out it was three. The deadline was 2355 hours and I made the last submission at like, 2357 ... I don't like cutting it that close. I hope that I don't lose too many points for that.

So frustrated right now. No one to blame but myself, but damn, it pisses me the fuck off when I read shit wrong.
