More stupidity. Apparently according to a former Archbishop of Canterbury gay marriage will somehow lead to polygamy and siblings marrying. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the logic of that argument too.

I'm starting to wrap my head around the possibility that owning a vehicle may be beyond my current means. It will still be a month before I see my adjusted pay from my new job. And before that happens, I will probably be several thousand dollars behind on my bills.

I want to hope that this will work out and I won't have to sell the truck (which I'm still paying on) ... but it's not looking good. I hate money. I am ruled by it.

Not being able to add a game to my Steam wishlist because I already own it.

PS Vita's Media detection skills are weird.

I add the remixes I ripped from Youtube into my Itunes and unlike my other music it won't detect it.
Until I put it into the MediaGo application folder in stead, then the PS Vita is all "seems legit."

Found out from a coworker that the internet at work is completely down. Since there is not even one piece of my work that I can do without internet, I'm taking my time going in today. IT is apparently working on the problem. As long as I can take care of the issues from the preliminary schedule and on to the final schedule and post, I will be good to go for my weekend.

Also, they decided to eliminate a position and have me doing effectively two jobs starting Monday. Yes, I got a pay raise, but it doesn't compensate. They claim all these new programs are in the works to make the jobs of the operators easier (and since I will be the scheduler and the day shift operator, this will benefit me) but their timeline for implementation is fucking wrong and I seem to be the only person who knows it. So what they think is going to happen is I'm going to do day shift operator work and be able to work on the schedule at the same time, and I will be able to leave at 1500. What's actually going to happen is I'm going to be so goddamn busy doing day shift operator work that I'm going to end up staying four-five hours later and completely burn out just trying to do the job I was hired for.

And on top of that, most of the perks I thought I would get to enjoy with this job have been removed. Glad this is what I totally applied for, right? I mean really. At least they're working with my school schedule. That's about all I've got.

Oh, and my predecessor lied about how much he made so when I went to negotiate salary, they actually fucking laughed at me. Thanks for that, dick.

I hate my staff more than usual. I have depended on them, in the past, to be able to delegate work fairly among themselves like responsible adults. But it looks like I'll have to start doing it for them now because everybody seems to be complaining that they have too much work to do. The irony of me depending on them to be adults is that I'm the supervisor and I'm the youngest at our site.
