Picked up Eternal Sonata and I regret doing so, fighting the hardest boss in the game on Encore Mode is annoying the hell out of me. I hate you Dolce, I hate you so damn much. You know that feeling your going to get when your JUST about to beat the boss, that sense of "Oh my god, your going down!" That prickling feeling on the back of your neck when things are going your way. Yeah, I had that and then the boss came out of no where, used Burning Spindle, killed my healer in one shot, ran over to my DD, Back-Crit'd for 2.4k x 3 and killed her, then went and one shot my tank who had already suffered damage last turn.
The feeling I'm going to get after her will be this.
That sleepy, yet exhausted feeling after accomplishing your goal, living up to the expectation you put yourself at for the boss and then throwing my controller up in the air in praise for a job well done and then go wash my hands from how clammy my hands get during a boss battle which causes me to sometimes mis-judge button presses.

omg that's such an awful game.
It's one of those where afterwards you think about what you could of been doing instead.
It was way too cutesy.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Children have no place on an adventure to save the world.
I lasted as far as the sewer-type part at the beginning after using that girl with the umbrella thingy.

<--Her Name is Polka, she is your only GOOD healer.
That's all I play are RPGs now, I'm actually waiting for my Xbox Live to finish out. Cool tip, on Xbox Live for those who still play FF XI you can continue to play it on a Silver Membership and it will treat your account as if it were Gold. Since you switch servers from Microsofts to PlayOnline's. Just thought I'd share that. You keep all Gold functions while logged into XI.

Gonna be waiting at an airport for four hours on the 29th... oh boy! (Adelaide - Melbourne - Hobart). I love waiting at airports, there's just so much to do in those places with all the expensive items to buy and... and the bathrooms and stuff.
Kinda wish it was Sydney airport. I'm only going by what I remember when I was 14, but getting lost in that place was very easy. Up was down and left was north (I think I had to leave the airport as the gate I needed to go to was somewhere else. Same airport, but the place I was at was so far off that leaving was the easier route). I'm sure it would take me around 4 hours to find the gate if they haven't changed it at all in the past 9 years.
Edit: Trying to get a call in to ask a few questions regarding the change in flight is proving to be incredibly difficult and frustrating (call centres are fun). I decided to check up my reservation number on the website and if what I'm looking at is correct, my previous flight time was never cancelled (and still has two empty seats). For whatever reason, they decided to throw me into a flight that takes off four hours and forty-five minutes later. No explanation was left behind either, I might add. All the email said was that there has been a change.
Nah, they let it go on like this every fucking morning.
Though I've contemplated calling the cops for a health and welfare check, is that passive-aggressive enough? "Sir, your neighbor was concerned, your alarm clock has been ringing for nearly an hour!" Maybe they'll get the point. Shit's aggravating!
Why does YouTube insist on asking me to use my full name whenever I want to make a comment? I don't want to use my full name, YouTube. There's a thing called privacy that you should learn about. While it's true that I use Facebook and thus, my real name is out there, I don't need everyone on my friends list to see what I'm watching on YouTube or what I'm posting on random forums. This is why I don't want to change to using my full name.
Please stop asking me. And please give me the option to tell you to stop asking me, because you keep asking me, and I've declined at least two dozen times. It's getting old. I am not going to assimilate, and resistance is not futile.
I spent nearly two hours doing a podcast last night. At the end of it, one of my co-hosts just goes "oh by the way, none of that got recorded". So discouraged.
akys, there's a lot of people out there with sleeping disorders and other issues that can make it incredibly hard to wake up in the morning. There have been times where my alarm clock has run for an hour, and I didn't turn it off not out of laziness or neglect, but because I never woke up. If your neighbor's alarm clock is regularly running for excessive amounts of time, there's a pretty good chance they're suffering for it in their sleep quality, as well as social responsibilities. Missing a test because your body doesn't agree with the clock sucks. Missing work because your body can't just "wake up" like it should is a huge pain. Missing a date with friends or a romantic partner? And that's not even mentioning what can happen this is a regular occurance-- the stress of "I have to force myself awake so I don't get expelled/flunked/fired/dumped" doesn't help you sleep any better either.
If it honestly bothers you that much, you could try asking if you could help. He might actually *appreciate* a neighbor who would come over and wake him up when the alarm clock doesn't.
I just figured the guy was showering or something with it on, my mother used to do that, she would get up without realizing she had set another alarm and forget to turn it off, then spend seventeen hours in the bathroom. I am obviously exaggerating, but goddamn my mother used to spend a long fucking time in the bathroom.
