I would guess there are many casualties down in HR. HR people are the worst at computers.

While this is true, HR has managed to keep their heads down through all of this. We're pretty sure it's our lawyer up in Boston who's responsible for the outbreak and trying to clean his computer has been the worst. Most of the folks here in my office are mostly clean now, but we're still dealing with stamping out the rootkits.

I've decided that the new corporate policy is that we're going to replace all of our computers with typewriters.

Lawyers, lol. Forgot about them. It's like, the more prestigious your degree, the worse you are at computers.

And of course, I went with HR earlier because most HR people are middle-aged women who use their computer only for Facebook, Farmville, and QVC.com.

I'm waiting to the the cricut icing cutting machine on it again. I sooooo need that machine in my life.

Lol! I have nothing against stuff on QVC, I just couldn't think of anything "soccer mom-ish" off the top of my head. I'm not your typical suburban mother who wears mom jeans and drives the kids to school, lol. Even if I had the kids with me, I'd still spend my time after work gaming and trolling the intertubes, so I don't really get the people who use computers sparingly.

Today I've had a ton of problems pushing out the new version of the anti-virus software and to top it all off one of the utilities I was using to clean the machines ended up eating the boot sector or something on one of the laptops, so now I'm going to have two machines to resurrect tomorrow instead of just the one I was expecting.
