I won't bother with spilling the core details on my pet peeve, but I will just give you the peeve, someone else can speak on them, what I have to say won't be very nice to people who are religious. Jahova Witnesses.

The Jehova Witness religion is pretty silly. Then again, alot of religions can fall into that category. The Jehova Witness beliefs and practices are the funniest to me though...

My uncle is JW and I can't tolerate him. I told him before if he steps into my house with a Bible and tries to preach to me I will burn his Bible in front of him and toss it out into my fire pit. I honestly cannot stand JW's they are the "Door to door" salesmen of religion and it pisses me off. Sure they're fine if your in a church, but if your disturbing someone's dinner at 8:00 at night asking them to take a moment to listen about god, you can simply go die along with whatever god you worship. What annoys me the most is they also either come early morning or near late at night for me. I've left a little sign outside my door that states I am Atheist. My friend TJ is just a dick and will walk outside with no shirt on wearing the devil's star or whatever the hell it is all over him and ask JW's to come in and have tea with him. I personally wouldn't take it that far, I simply ask them to leave and not return to my residence, they however send reinforcements. It's always two JW's never one. Like the first one can't handle speech on his own and has downs so the other one has to vouch for him. I also keep track of how many churches are targeting my house. I currently have three at the moment since I have 3 different booklets, so I am going to probably take a trip to all three of them, and I am going to rudely interrupt them during "service" or whatever the fuck it is they do and talk to their head priest and ask him to stop sending these people to my door.

My JWs usually come in late morning or early afternoon, and unless I'm just feeling like ass that day I'll sit and talk to them. I wouldn't say I've made any atheists, but if anyone's persuading anyone to their own beliefs, it's me much more than them.

The people who come around here trying to look at my energy bill to "make sure I'm not paying too much" are far more numerous, annoying, and unwilling to take no for an answer.

I'm not a regular drinker so I don't know much about bars, but are they supposed to be closed on Veteran's Day? I was so looking forward to drowning my sorrows today.

I would figure bars were closed because it was Sunday, and not because of Veterans Day. At least when I lived up north, I know most bars were not open on Sundays.

To be frank, if your problem with JWs is that they go door to door, you should really listen to what they have to say, because you don't know jack about what should offend you about them. The door to door thing is absolutely nothing, it is an annoyance, not one of the many misdeeds the church actively carries out (and the fucked up beliefs in general)

Worked the midnight sale for Black Ops 2 last night. As expected, when asked if people had everything in order, 14 and 15 year-olds had to be idiots and act like a smartass. This is part of why the world regards CoD as the shitstain of the online gaming community, to say nothing of why most people don't even use voice chat online anymore.

On the JW thing - they're not even a bother. They come around maybe once or twice a year at best. If you're going to get pissy about them, you may as well get pissy about Girl Scouts or the Avon lady. I just tell them I'm a member of the church down the street, which I am technically. I'm registered there I just can't stand the largeness of it or the fakeness of its congregation for the most part. I go to see the church musical each year and that's about it.
