I had four kids all night. The last kid actually asked me if he could take the whole bowl of candy. I mean, I felt bad because he barely had any candy at all, but seriously? No you little greedy bastard.
Was handing out candy at around 5:30 since some kids were coming early. During the course of making burgers for dinner on the BBQ, I had a family of 4 ring the doorbell, and I was carrying a plate of the burgers I'd just finished making over to the door as I answered it. Turns out the kids wanted burgers more than they wanted candy, so I ended up giving away my dinner and snacking on fun-sized candy for a while.
lmao.
I made cupcakes and decorated them like pupkins and cobwebs,
Witches hat and bat shaped cookies too.
My peeve today is having my flatinvaded by builders installing a new radiator system. It's pretty cool, runs off a biomass furnace thingy.
It's mainly the drilling and banging thats my peeve, The fact all 5 of them are easy on the eye makes up for it.

Peeve: Too many Trick or Treaters. -_- Yeah, I got hit with quite the few swarms. But the peeve is when you shut your light off (not sure if anyone goes by that rule) and you still get those idiot (too old) trick or treaters who roll up on your house and knock on your door like the police.

Listen, I get it, you don't want to chill with me, fine. Just fucking say so then. I can do other things like take an awesome nap because holy crap I am tired from work, or play video games, or finish some of the errands I needed to get done. Don't make me sit here waiting for you to wait until the last minute to decide that something else came up.
I bought a $9 bag of candy and no one's come to my door.
Guessing you have an apartment?
I'm not even sure if suburban neighborhoods have kids trick-or-treat anymore, but for whatever reason apartment complexes have a "dangerous" connotation to them - even though there are plenty that have families and children in them. Well, that and America's "worst case scenario" culture of overprotecting children has restricted most trick-or-treating to malls these days.
This is what happens when you live in a world where parents can get arrested for letting their kids play in the front yard.
I saw two or three kids in costume when I got home from work, but they seemed to be leaving. There's actual houses on the other side of the street so I'm guessing that's where they went.
