Huh...

Anyway, it has been four or five years since I last studied for anything and wow. My brain is not happy with me (make it learn? What kind of monster am I). Gotta write in a book about customer communication and another about customer interaction. Both need to be done by Wednesday and then we have to work on a third book (there's 14 or 15 overall. The course ends on the 23rd of November). Working on Certificate II in Retail is going to be fun. Good thing my sleep schedule is decent.

On the plus side, I've already made multiple friends :D

Woke up blind this morning or so I thought I was, only to find out I didn't remove my contacts. That cloudiness they get when you leave them in over night.

There's at least a dozen crows outside my apartment just cackling and carrying on. They're like the most ghetto bird. Shut up!

I'd say Pidgeons are. They find anything below them a bathroom and leave you presents on your car windshields.

I have bats nesting in the roof which like to cause a lot of noise at night by flapping around and generally being annoying.

They're a protected species though and I can't afford the fine the Government will throw at me for clearing them out. It is pretty cool to watch them fly around your house at night though.

It does mean that "FUCKING ZUBAT!" is a meme of sorts for my family though which is fun.

Can Animal Control come in and relocate them for you? I had the same problem (well not the same animal) A Praying Mantis made it's home in my flower bed, and I figured it was just there for all of five minutes. Checked back week to week to see it had a nest there. I couldn't shoo it away since it's endangered. So I called AC and they came and relocated it for me. Nest and all.

If bats were living in my house I would move. My mom and I came home with the kids one night and there were four of them flying around, the dogs were freaking out (one of them bit my mom) and we had to call my uncle to come over and help relocate them outside. Turns out someone had left a screen out, we were probably lucky we didn't get robbed.

Couldn't sleep very well for a few days after that. Bats are cool outside. Less so when they're flapping around your house.

I can give the RSPCA a call to see if they can answer anything about it because I honestly don't know other than I'll get a pretty hefty fine for shooing them away myself. They aren't really causing any harm and are only really an annoyance during the night when they're moving around a lot. During the day they're probably yelling "FUCKING HUMANS!" and making a ton of noise at night to get back at us.

And they only really get into the house proper if we leave the hatch to the attic open but since we use it purely for storage it's not that huge a deal.

I want a fruit bat as a pet. They're so adorable. Flying foxes!

Oh yeah bats are adorable, It's just painful sometimes when I'm using my headset and my mic pics up their sonar. I don't know if you have ever heard a bat "talk" near a mic but it is either awesome or "MY EARS!" depending on how much you like dubstep.

Not being able to remember what you were doing after dropping a game for so long. (FFXI was a big culprit of this.)

I know I had a set plan to do stuff in Fallout, but since I don't remember; I'm in a random town with 44 days left. Sigh~ probably gonna have to restart.
