I might even join you in the "checking out," because unlike most catty bitches, I can appreciate a hottie walking by and not be threatened by her.

News of the day, apparently my grandfather is at home. My grandmother went in and signed him out of the nursing home. IDK what the hell for or why because he still isn't walking very well from the way I hear it. Apparently Friday my grandmother called up there and threatened everybody at the nursing home saying that she was going to persue with legal action if they didn't release him yesterday. I feel like I'm in "War of the Worlds" lol eventually somebody is going to snap.

Well eventually what I see happening is that your father is going to have your grandmother judged incompetent and put in a nursing home. She obviously is doing things that are causing harm. And then, yes, War of the Worlds will break out in your extended family. When the dust clears, you'll know who you can trust and who you can't.

My grandmother was alone in her later years. She did NOT want to be put in a nursing home but the problem was that she couldn't take care of herself. She was obese and had health issues. I fought with my aunts and uncles to put her in one and that she'd get over it eventually. She'd probably even end up enjoying it, in the right home, because she was very gregarious. But they refused and the dividing lines were laid.......and War of the Worlds broke out. After the dust cleared, I knew who the intelligent trustworthy people in my family were and my grandmother was dead. She died because she fell in her house and was stuck between the bed and the wall. She became so distressed that she had a cardiac arrest and died.

Oh man, try to take as many as you can. I am absolutely HORRIBLE about having my picture taken but I've been better lately. I was asked to find pictures of myself before my accident and after for my lawsuit. I went through MOUNDS of pictures...thousands and thousands! I called family and friends and asked for some too. In all the adult years I've lived, there are 22 pictures of me. (Not including the one of me on the front page of the newspaper, laying on the ground after getting smacked by a SUV while driving my Harley.) Back then I thought it was no big deal but now that I'm older my kids would like to have some older pictures of me (my daughter has only 1) and my grandkids would like to see pictures of gramma too. So take pictures on the sly or just take them and deal with the backlash, in the end, she'll be glad you did.

Went to the doctor and more or less confirmed that I have the beginnings of carpal tunnel. Wrist splints are annoying but manageable. Needing to switch keyboards however borders on heresy. Fine, I'll switch to an ergonomic keyboard for work but I just don't see one of those working for a gaming setup.

Its sad to say, but it might end up that way. When we found out my grandfather was at home, my mom called my dad's ex wife to let her know that he was at home so she or my brother and sister wouldn't go driving to the nursing home to see him.

When she got her on the phone she told her that my dad was looking out for my grandmother's best interests and he was not doing anything to try to hurt them. To which she replied "The kids told me some things that were said, and I don't really agree with what was done. Ray (my dad) is a minister and he should go pray about it. " my mom said that loretta said it in a sarcastic tone. We don't actually know all of what my grandmother said to her, but we know some of it since she told my sister who told my dad what was said.

Anyways, I don't know why they got him released when the social worker hasn't even been out to the house yet to see if it is ok for him to stay there. Because there will definently need to be improvements made on the house other than the lift that my grandmother had installed on the staircase to get from the first to the second floor.
