If you recall. I just came back from Vegas. I burned all my vacation time there... not to mention my money. I would have had the liquid finance to handle this if not for that damned place. I wish I had the forsight to squirrel money away into a "just in case the truck gets cancer" fund.

Cost: About $11.00 and the time it takes me to figure out how to detatch and reattach the replacement hose to the radiator.

Replacing the hoses is extremely easy, if dirty, very dirty.

But you shouldn't have any problem whatsoever with it as long as you get the proper hose set. Also, replace the entire set while you are at it since the other hoses are almost guaranteed to go soon. And depending on the type of clamp used in your car you may want to consider getting some of those fancy (and more) secure clamps that I don't know the name of in English, but they definitely sell them. Easier to install and also prevent damage to the hose due to over-tightening like it can happen with regular hose clamps.

When my old truck broke for the final time I had to rent a car, it was expensive and it sucked, but there was no other way to get to work.

Now I live a lot closer so if my ride breaks I can bike or walk.

Yesterday: Massive ass-reaming from Boss Lady spanning thirty minutes, to include how she's not sure she can "trust me" to work as manager because I've apparently "been slipping."

Today: Expected to drop everything to cover her shift and complete my own work, essentially being two people. And staying late.
