I heard about this today from one of the guys that works for me. He's born and raised in Mexico, and just last year married an American so no he lives here. He said Mexico elected as President the guy that works with the drug dealers. Sooo... things are going to get a million times worse, huh?

I'm getting the hell out of this country in the next couple of years if I can.

I heard about this from a guy that works for me. He was born and raised in Mexico and said the people of Mexico just elected the President directly affiliated with the drug cartels. He said they got rid of that kind of president like 8 years ago and things "started to get better," but now with the President being in the drug dealers pockets, things are going to get like 1 million times worse. Is that accurate? How the fuck could this happen?

Yeah, 12 years ago we voted the PRI out after more than 60 years of a Dictatorship that devalued the Peso to hell and completely destroyed Mexican owned industries in favor of US controlled interests. They let refineries to rot so the US could sell us Gasoline even though we are oil producers and it would be much cheaper. They murdered thousands of people (some say it's more than a million) among dissidents and anyone in the media who didn't agree or said anything against them.

And now the retarded people bought all the media propaganda and elected a President that is a puppet to both the cartels and of one of the past Presidents (Salinas de Gortari), that guy destroyed the economy and caused hyperinflation in order to give our version of the Fed even more power. Something like what they are trying to do nowadays in the US due to the dying Petrodollar.

So we are in for a pretty awful ride this time around because the mafia wont let go of the power, and they will start implementing even more repressive measures to regain all the control and close all the freedoms we attained while they weren't in charge.

It's gonna suck, that's for sure.




PS > Presidential terms are 6 years in Mexico but there is no reelection, so they have to resort to puppets (like the one that just got elected) to keep a grip on the chair.

PPS > Now, truth be told the only reason we were able to get rid of the PRI 12 years ago was because the US ordered them to stand down. At the time there were at least 3 militias forming and there were some upraisings, so they let another party in in order to defuse the situation. But of course, everyone has already forgotten about it.

I was actually stupid enough to click some of those articles and they're basically as condescending, sexist and just plain wrong as you would expect from a blog of some middle class, white, daddy's rich girl who acts like a hippie because they ate wheat grass (so erm...basically wheat overpriced wheat...) once, practises homoeopathy, has way more money than sense and has never once been in the situation of anyone who is completely and utterly broke and at the point where even saving £1 ($1.56 for my American friends) makes a huge difference.

So basically it's just plain insulting to anyone who was apparently too selfish to be born to a rich family and just had to be born into a family that has never had much money, and that selfish they actually had the gall to actually be born at a time when they would be leaving university in the middle of a mass recession.

Thankfully I'll have forgotten all about that blog by the end of the week.

Unfortunately, I came across it just after I had come home from visiting my cousins in Brooklyn. My cousins are worrying about getting through college when their dad is still paying off his gambling debts. My uncle is a useless bum who just sits around all day while his daughter is left to take care of pretty much all 3 of his other children. She is more of a parent than he is. We bought them some food to eat from Chinatown, and my uncle just takes his cut and goes to loaf about instead of making sure his kids have food to eat. The house is a wreck and there is trash everywhere. Pretty much all the responsibility of taking care of everyone falls on the oldest child, who is only about 21. That includes practically being the caretaker of my 82 year old grandfather who is bedridden and needs a feeding tube. And after she returns to college in September, it'll all fall on the second oldest. He is only 18 and just about to go to college. Locally because his deadbeat father guilted him into staying close.

I recently learned (in confidence of course) that my cousin, the oldest girl, told her college counselor that she had suicidal thoughts, which would explain a medication label I found lying around at their house for antidepressants. Powerful shit too.

So I would ask the webmaster of that blog. How about you try some of that positive thinking bullshit on my cousins? I'm sure it would do them a world of wonders, right?

One time I was brushing my teeth and I felt something on my forehead. I thought maybe it was just dust or something so I brushed it off. As I look to see what I had brushed off, it turns out it was a spider that was crawling on my face.

AC at the gym has been broken for the past 2 days. I changed my shirt 3 times today. I was able to wring out my first two shirts. Still a great back workout. Glad this heat is about to break.

It is quite possibly 8 million degrees in my apartment. Even with window units. God, I miss central AC.

Also, Summer Shandy is too pricey. I'm cheap, damn it.
