A lich is created when a powerful magician or king striving for eternal life uses spells or rituals to bind his soul to his animated corpse and thereby achieves immortality.

Now I'm no D&D/mythology/folklore buff but I thought the point of being a Lich is to bind your soul to a well-hidden inanimate object. Re-binding your soul to your dead body for supposed immortality sounds retarded.

I think in the D&D mythos(the only one I'm remotely familiar with) you are correct. The term was phylactery iirc. Basically you put all your power into a little box and keep that box safe, because as long as the box is ok you're pretty much fine.

I'm probably still way off base. I just wanted an excuse to post that awesome Zombie Jesus image.

I'm just lost when it comes to women. Honesty, Brutal honesty, friendliness, etc. etc. I always pick the wrong approach to these situations. Even worse is that I think women actively target me lately because they know I'm not interested in complications anymore, not to mention it's always girls I just don't like (mainly manly women). All while the girls I actually like always see me as the bestest backup guy ever. Not good as the first option, but extremely awesome as the second option/rebound guy/guy to settle with after the crazy/healing guy/ etc. etc.



Psh screw that. I'm better on my own.

You are correct with the D&D with the phylactery. The only way to kill one in D&D is to destroy that, other wise, their spirit can be around for all eternity.

But manly women are just that, manly. Imagine a foul mouthed college dude and then put his speech patterns and even attitudes in an otherwise attractive woman. That's what I'm talking about here.

But, some times a woman who acts manly is only acting that way because they are hiding something. Under their exterior, they could be the most gentle person you have ever met.

Anyhow, I think my point originally was going to be that no one's perfect and acting like a dude is pretty low on the scale of shitty women behavior. Think of it as her using Charisma as her dump stat.

Nah, getting involved with girls I don't genuinely like just because I can doesn't work at all for me. It's a waste of my time and theirs.



I just wish I was better at handling those situations when they happen.

Pet Peeve: Children crying while I am working. I work at a restraunt. I also understand it's a hard job being a parent (I have no kids, not yet.) But when a parent can't control their kid, it ruins everyone elses dining experience. My chef told me to ask these people to leave. Yeah I was upset that I had to ask them to leave, but I was also happy that my ears would have peace and quiet. Is it wrong of me to say that?I was just following orders.
