Okay, there's this one bitch I work with. Unfortunately, she and I do the same job, so I'm stuck with her damn near constantly. I wouldn't mind her so much if she didn't get offended at every. little. thing. someone. says. to. her. I'm talking about stuff like, "Oh, you're going too slow, better pick it up!" Now she is pissed at the person who said it, even though they were totally joking. It's not even truly offensive shit that offends her, but STUPID shit like that.

Right now she's got a shitlist that's just growing and growing and growing. And every time someone gets on her shitlist, I am the first to hear about it.

I don't fucking want to hear about it. But I can't just tell her to STFU because I want to keep my job. But everyone at work knows that her attitude is absolute shit. People mess with her ONLY BECAUSE she takes it so personally. They get a rise out of her. You know I learned that lesson in the first grade, that people mess with you because they get a reaction. If she'd just let it go, people would leave her alone. Instead, everyone continues to troll her because it's easy.

And I guess now she is pissed at me because I'm obviously tired of listening to her bitching, and to top it all off, she won't stop singing along with her iPod, loudly enough that my own music in my earbuds is not enough to drown the sounds of her annoying fucking voice out.

It should be legal to murder coworkers. Until then, though, the rest of us just avoid her and try not to talk too much about how we thought high school was over many years ago.

I felt like this earlier when my SOB boss sends me a email that basically said that "People are saying that I'm not doing what I'm supposed to be doing." I know for sure that it was the asshole lady that I work with that probably said it, even though she may "Think" I'm not doing anything, I actually do 5x more work than she does on any given day. On days when I have to cover other departments as well, I do 10x more work that she does on any given day, so IMO she should STFU! I swear that when I was working with the previous accountant I never had any problems with my job, now I have plenty. I like how she apparently has time to keep track of what I'm doing when she should actually be doing work herself. Nobody says anything to her when she stops working to take 15-20 minute cell phone calls almost every day while sitting at her desk.

She was talking to one of our ex-coworkers one day (personal call) and she said "Hold on a second, somebody just called me twice, it must be important." I'm glad that I keep records of things just in case I'm ever called in before the boss, I can make her dumbass look stupid. Furthermore if I was not there for 2-3 days, that whole end of the department would crash and burn.

TL;DR: some people need to just STFU and MYOMFB!

I worked with a lady who was easily offended.. she wouldn't get mad, just sad or let it stress her out. It was annoying.. like calm down..

What's your pet peeve in movies/TV/video games?

I found this idea on IMDB. It was inspired by the movie Amelie, where Amelie is sitting in a theater watching an old black and white movie. She turns to the camera and says that she hates it in movies where people are driving their cars, but don't ever seem to be looking at the road.

Since we're on the subject of TV shows, what annoys you about movies/TV/video games

- I hate it when characters on-screen are playing video games, but none of what they're doing, or the overblown sound effects, seem to match what's actually happening on-screen.

- I hate lack of attention to internal consistency. Was watching a movie where somebody is holding a microphone while singing. It's in his left hand in one cut, then in his right in the next (no indication that he switched hands), then a cut later, in his left hand again. In another case, a group of girls hear that some guy is going to immediately quit his job at a temple and they decide they have to talk him out of it. But apparently they had time to change from their casual clothes to their school uniforms before they stop him.

- I majored in Psychology in college, and I hate it when the subject of Psychology comes up in a show, but the "experts" on screen talk as if all their knowledge comes directly from a Popular Psychology Magazine, or say things like "Studies prove..." rather than "Studies suggest...".

When people get butthurt about swearing, especially when it's not even that much swearing. Excuse me for letting a damn or shit slip out here and there. I could fucking just say every other fucking word with a goddamn cuss but I fucking filtered my shit out so you wouldn't fucking have to listen to it because I fucking know how damn much this shit offends you.

Stop using the Facebook feed to talk about how you hated New Moon, or how The Invention of Lying sucked, or how Old Dogs stole 2 hours of your life. I keep on recommending movies that I'm pretty sure ya'll would enjoy. And you turn around to go watch a movie you're pretty sure you won't enjoy.

Facebook. I'm not on Facebook, but a relative of mine e-mailed this to me. My cousin posted this thing on her wall, and the following ensued:



Blocked out all the names. I'm not really close with this cousin, so I don't know what kind of mother she is, but when my one aunt (by marriage, not actual blood relative but close enough) brought me into this, I was hella pissed. There are about four people on the planet who know why my kids are where they are, and believe me, if I wanted to be selfish about my kids I could have forced them to live with me and my struggle these past years. I'm not even going to go there (as most of you here have heard at least most of this stuff before). Thing is, she doesn't even know the full goddamn story as it is, so how dare she make some bitchy comment? And when I'm not even there to fucking defend myself.

If this is what family thinks of me, then I've got nothing left to go back to.

And people wonder why I don't use Facebook, well, there you have it. Then again, whether I use it or not, I can't even escape the catty passive-aggressive sniping on the site. Good to know how much people care to listen to the full story behind things before they open their mouths.

Some days I really hate being alive.

And I'm not even going to try to defend my cousin there, because she didn't do much of a job of it herself. Let her dig her own grave, but why drag me into it? Honestly.

I have an uncle in Pennsylvania like that. His own kids are messed up and all drop outs and he tried to give me shit when I took a break for a year when I was 19 to see what I wanted to do study(ended up with Chemical Engineering, almost done with that). And not a simple "oh no you shouldn't do that", he went around telling people that I dropped out, I'm no good, all this bullshit. I'm the first person in my entire family to get accepted to college, and in abit to graduate from college, so needless to say this pissed me off that a man whose own kids A) live off welfare(2 of em anyway) B) dropped out of HIGH SCHOOL, not due to financial issues, but cause they are by the states definition mentally retarded and didn't want to go to a special class and C) have a bigger criminal record than I do. One of them is 16.

Being the delightful person that I am, I used my roommates photoshop and printer to make a nice birthday card for him that pretty much read that he should prolly focus less on my life and focus more on his failure children, all in spanish obviously and abit more colorful than I care to type here, and sent it to him to arrive on his birthday, as well as some of his coworkers.

He doesn't talk about me anymore.

What fucking pisses me off is that if by some chance I went up to PA to see family they'd all act nice as hell to me, talking about how much they missed me and genuinely act like they give a flying fuck what it is I'm doing with my life. But then when I'm not around talk this kind of bullshit about me.

And this is fucking family doing this crap. I sure do feel the love.

Let them hate me, I'm not going to lie and say that I don't care (because I do, and it kind of hurts to be treated this way) but honestly, they can all go to hell. I don't judge them and all their choices in life, so fuck them. All of them.

Static Shocks!!!! How I hate thee!!!!!!! My shoes have collected an abnormal amount of static so I always get shocked when touching metal objects at work. I assume it is my dress shoes because I always get shocked 10x worse when I have them on. I generate enough static electricity to run all the tube lights in the building LOL!
