I had nearly 2000 images stored in my Imageshack account. I have to cut them down to below 500 or they'll delete all but the 500 most recent images in the account, unless I pay them. What a fucking dick move. So now I'm sorting through all of my images looking for the ones I can get rid of. Some of them are easy to remove because they're just rehosted memes, but a lot of these are pics of my kids that I don't want to lose.

Doesn't get rid of your Imageshack problem but you should check out Minus for your future image-hosting needs. You get 10 GB of storage, and 1 GB for each person you refer. Right now the main limitation is that you can't have more than 200 files in a single folder, but you can make as many folders as you like. Uploading shit is easy because you can just drag and drop into your browser, or use their programs to drag-and-drop into your taskbar. You can upload any kind of file too but it's not as convenient as Dropbox for that sort of thing if you ask me.

I had to tear apart the back room with all the networking wires today. The goal was to make said wires all nice and pretty so the phone guy can actually have some room to work tomorrow when he puts in the new phone system. I spent all day labeling the ethernet cords(something that should've been done ages ago) and pulling the entire thing apart and putting it back together roughly two feet to the left of where it was. Then the network decided to not come back up when I reassembled it. Lots of angry noises followed, but after lots of fiddling and randomly turning devices off and on again since the proper order didn't restore connectivity, and it's all working again. For now.

Good lord do I hate dealing with networking. I have absolutely no training in it, but I get called upon to handle networking problems in the office all the damn time. Half Most of the time I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing.

Peeve: getting routed to the India call center and having them declare my problem fixed very aggressively. You did not fix the issue I have been having since fucking October dear. You were just clicking around desperately trying to bullshit your way through this call so you could get back to solving routine connection issues. I know what desperately flailing because you don't know how to fix the problem looks like, I do it on a fairly regular basis at my day job so don't think you're fooling anyone.

Finding out that I might be getting a 4.0 GPA for my final year at the college here. Then finding out that it might drop to a 3.4 because a group member never does any work.
