But the problem I have is the ideas each party "stands for" are hardly even relevant. Precious little of what goes on in Washington (or at least what is relayed to us by the media) has anything to do with philosophical differences or clashing viewpoints between people in power so much as an absurd pantomime of what each party thinks their active constituents want to hear. And when I say "constituents" I mean the wealthy benefactors and corporations that fund everyone's campaigns as much if not more than actual voters. If our elected representatives spent even half as much time actually representing the interests of the electorate rather than on image manipulation and gaming the system as hard as possible for votes, the rest would sort itself out on its own.

I honestly do agree with this.

I just wish that people would just come to a "middle ground", or so. Or hell, a third party that has the views of both the parties. I am neither democrat or republican because as I said before, both have their good points and bad in my opinion. Such as one being against capital punishment and the death penalty (Which shouldn't exist, but that's for a whole other topic all together.)

Not everyone can agree on the government and how it is run, yet no one does anything except for complain about it. I honestly do believe the government needs a complete reformation every 11 years or so, to prevent corrupt polotics, and stop the nonsense that is going on as well. But, as it is now... Its a bit too late for that due to how deep the corruption is.

A government should fear its people, not the people fear it.

((Sorry if this doesn't make sense. I am dead tired, because I can't sleep at the moment, or completely missed the point, because I think I did. lol))

RL peeve: Not knowing what cellphone to buy.

Being a Sony fanboy I'm thinking an Xperia Ray, since I only use the camera, mp3 player and sometimes light games like Lumines or Tetris. I never use the internet because it's slow as hell here, not to mention way too expensive for such crappy connection.

But with so many options out there I feel like I should do way more research about it. Just don't know where to start. orz

Being sick, and having to call out for two days straight, and needing to call out the next day, but your boss calls you when you feel perfectly fine, asking you to work third shift. I fucking regret saying yes now.

Yeah, it's pretty fun when you feel fine while rested and then start feeling like crap once you start doing stuff again.

But then again I never take anything when I get sick except for Aspirin, since it doesn't last long.

Whenever I get seriously ill (relatively, like a bad flu) I always try to go back to work too soon, end up weakening my immune system and having a total relapse, then having to take off work for even longer to get better again. Usually this process takes more sick time than I have.

Been there, done that TM. I spent the better part of a weekend last month battling the common cold and making it to Tuesday when I had to be at work. I made the mistake of thinking I could tough out the final day in THE AIRPORT... with all the PEOPLE... and all their ILLNESS.... from around the WORLD. Long story short... bad choice. I wound up down and our for the next week. If only I had taken just one day off to fully recover... I might not have had to cash in a full week of sick time.

Yea, that is exactly what happened to me. lol. Got a cough that was friggen killing me when I got home. I'm just really glad my co-workers are really nice and gave me a ride home in the cold weather.

Or a social recluse. I never got sick when I was in college and just sequestered myself in my room. The worst I ever got was allergies. Working in a shipping warehouse with two school-age children exposes you to whole nations of pathogens.
