Getting robbed during nightshift at a gas station just a few minutes after your coworkers leave, and not being able to do anything about it because nothing illegal was done....

Would it kill you to just give the specifics so we can determine whether or not it was or wasn't illegal? Chances are if you were robbed, it was illegal.

unless you was approached by somebody and you threw your money and phone at them then ran away before they could even say anything. I dont see how you can be robbed legally.

Obviously it is time for random speculation.

They gave their money to a hooker and the hooker didn't put out. The hooker robed him, and it is still illegal, but as it was taken in course of illegal solicitation there is nothing he can do about it.

lmao. You guys are a riot at times....

Ok, so you guys want the story of how it happened? Here it goes.

So, as I said, my co worker's left the store about 10-15 minutes before this guys comes in. I am standing behind the counter, and he says he has the weirdest request. I say, ok, go ahead and say it, he looked like a trust worthy guy at the moment, but then again, looks can be decieving.

So.... He tells me a little story, and that he has his car that ran out of gas right next to the gas station. I look out the window and lo-and behold, there it is. So, he asks if he can leave a baggy of stuff (Didn't look into it, because I didn't want to even know what was in it.), his License, and his drugs. I said no to leaving the drugs, but the license and the bag ok.

Then, he asks if I have a container he can borrow. Of course, we have none (Crappy management, I mean... What gas station DOESN'T have a container for gas?), so he gets upset when I tell him I can't. So, at this moment, I am getting a bit nervous, because I don't know if this guy could pull a gun on me randomly or what. So, I go over and grab a gallon gas can, and tell him to fill it with a gallon of gas (Which I did a prepay, to prevent him from stealing more than he could possibly steal.).

So, he leaves his Drivers ID, and the baggy, walks out and starts getting gas. I write down his personal information for later use. He walks off, fills his car with gas, and drives off. 15 minutes later, he comes back. He places the gas can (Half full btw), on the counter. He says to me he refuses to pay for the gas, and will give me drugs (Crack, cocain, heroin, what ever.), and says he will pay me triple the cost of gas, and give me a "job" so I can quit my job. I tell him no thanks, I just want you to pay for the gas that you promised you would pay for. He started to get angry, so I just handed him his stuff back, and told him to leave the store.
