Of course I do.
They need exposure to things so their body can build resistance to it. Otherwise whatever is breaching their system just overpowers for them as it;s alien to their bodies and there has been no preperation for it.

You just cant have a child living in a protective bubble, As great it is that they are being well taken care of it does them more harm in the long run.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who notices. In the groups of people I know, People are suddenly "allergic" or have an "intolerance" to something. Which kinda happend overnight?

I treat them all the time, You can tell which ones are bs. Like this one guy down my local pub says he's allergic to peanuts and quite severly. Allthough I saw him eating the face of a fat girl who I had sold 2 bags of peanuts "part time barman/drag queen" and seen her demolish both bags. severely allergic? I think not.
I've almost killed somebody with a latex allergy with the tiniest amount of contact, So a mouthful of peanut bits, saliva and tongue for a bit of a stir would produce some effect you'd think?
Sometimes I've been tempted to flick a peanut into his throat just to see.
In the animal kingdom their genes would be seen as inferior and chances of them being carried on would be less. It wouldnt eradicate it but it would be one less for dinner. Making my life a bit less stressful whilst being overworked and cooking a dinner that went into the bin because 1/6 of the group decided they had something.
They also forget the week before I saw them demolish a baguette before I even had a sip of my coffee.

As I said when it comes down to it my problem is people.
Allthough 27 is a bit young to be holding all this rage.

I think you have taken what I have said and over analyzed it a bit. It was meant to be a figure of speech/ analogy/ similie /whatever. Of letting kids be kids and not treat them like porcelain dolls.
I wouldnt let my little brother eat mud, there could be glass in it or cat shit. What I was trying to point out that kids dont play like they used to a scraped knee or bumped head is today made out like it's the end of the world.

It is true kids not being allowed to play like kids is effecting them. I'm seeing it alot lately fat wheezing kids with inhalers. Which takes me back to my problem being people and those people being THE PARENTS.

I'm a total hypocrite also.
Last summer I discovered I have an allergy. I'm allergic to cloves and you know what the best bit is? I have no idea what the hell cloves are.
I was looking after an asian lady "that means indian/pakistani here in england" she'd had a stroke and we told her family that she'd benefit greatly from massage. The next day they were oiling her up and when doing my checks my throat started to tighten and I started sneezing and my eyes watering. Turns out it was clove oil. Still havent a clue what it is but thats the effect it has in me. But I wont be one of those allergy people until it's confirmed by tests.

I felt more sorry for the lady though. She was basted like a chicken.

So as well as evil I'm a hypocrite
Lol @ Armando - I think my sanity started to leave on the day I began my training. Hospitals do some weird stuff to you I've been there since I was 19, Oh feck thats almost a decade. Damn when did that all happen? lol

Hmmm so I googled cloves and realised I ingest them on a regular basis with garam massala powder. hmmmm ???

Nature does unconscionable things that any person would rightly be labeled a monster for carrying out on their own, yet we understand that the workings of nature are a system that produces progressively stronger forms at the cost of the lives of the weak. If our only concern was the long-term genetic fitness of the species, the correct thing to do would be to allow those with genetic defects and weaknesses to die off before they have a chance to reproduce and pass along their defective material.

There are two problems with this. One is that it's not always black and white what constitutes defective material. Sickle-cell, for example, is a genetic disease that confers a host of long-term health risks but also an increased resistance to malaria. The genome is full of double-edged swords like this from our weakened GI tract to our critically premature (for an ape) births. There's even some evidence that the allergic "disorders" in question are a result of positive adaptations to environmental factors that have disappeared in the modern world.*

The main problem, though, is that genetic fitness is no longer our primary concern. The human race adapts and evolves so much faster through the exchange of cultural information as to make genetic evolution practically irrelevant. When a person with genetic infirmities is allowed to live and reproduce through medicine, the race is essentially paying a genetic price on the wager that the additional perspective and experience that person gains will benefit us all through contribution to our collective knowledge, labor done, or simply by participating in the complex ecosystem of symbols and emotions that is the social fabric.

While the Nazis adopted eugenics to be a largely racial issue, eugenics itself is not necessarily racial at all. Even long before Kristallnacht, they had adopted a policy of sterilizing and/or euthanizing the physically and mentally disabled and/or inferior (side note: they also included homosexuality among their list of "disabilities," which makes no sense whatsoever from a eugenic perspective since you'd think that a practicing homosexual wouldn't be contributing to the gene pool, anyway . . .). Just as this propaganda poster suggests, they were hardly alone on this matter, either, and Hitler had even cited the practices of a certain Ancient Greek state as a precedent for his decisions.

At any rate, though, TM is right: our society is such that genetic fitness takes a backseat to personal freedom, for better or for worse. A person being an unfit parent intellectually is infinitely more harmful to society than some minor genetic allergy that can be overcome with medicine, anyway.

If strong genes matter to you so much then you should only consider marrying outside your race - you'd be doing the gene pool a disservice by marrying within your race and not diversifying.
