Stupid co-worker who keeps screwing up their Active Directory password. Apparently my supervisor gave her one at the beginning of the month, which she managed to either forget, mistype or otherwise fuck up. Ok, cool, that's fine. I went in and reset it a week ago.
Today she comes and complains about how she can't log in using the password my supervisor gave her at the beginning of the month and she's either lost or forgotten whatever password she changed it to after I reset her password, or she fails at typing so I have to reset it again today.
Oh, and she can't seem to grasp that her Active Directory password and account are different from the login credentials she uses to access her email that's hosted via a third party.
God I hate inept chatty women. Write this shit down so I don't have to keep fixing it. God damn.
My daughter was just diagnosed with strep throat. At least it's easily treated with antibiotics which are being picked up from the pharmacy even as I type.
Antibiotics when not used correctly, they make the germs that survive them stronger, which makes the pharmacy need to make stronger antibiotics.
I've heard that they "become stronger", but I've only ever read that they may become resistant through random genetic mutations during reproduction. This would mean they could become resistant at any point in time, and, if treated, would kill all but the one that's resistant, which would reproduce more resistant bacteria.

No, the problem is many times improper use of antibiotics means most of the time people stops taking them before the infection is completely gone. This means the surviving germs already had contact with that specific antibiotic, which makes them gain a certain amount of resistance by default. If you add to that the mutations occurring when germs reproduce while traces of antibiotics still remain in the body this gives germs a good environment to develop immunity (which may or may not happen, but it only needs to happen once for a strain of bacteria to adapt to a certain antibiotic.)
This is why the first thing a doctor will tell you is to take all the antibiotics as prescribed, even if you already feel like the infection has disappeared half way through.

Your point being what, exactly?
She's been given antibiotics for a bacterial infection. That's how it's supposed to work. She'll be taking the entire bottle in 2 tsp doses as instructed -- not stopping as soon as she feels better.
Although many people demand antibiotics in situations for which they're not useful (i.e. viral infections) and don't know how to follow directions, I am not one of those people.
Takelli and Raydeus are both right,
It doesnt help that doctors still dish out antibiotics for the slightest cough and sneeze.
Modern parenting is also a big factor on illness. You should let your children eat those mud pies, scrape their knees and fall out of trees. Everything is so clinical these days with people living in laboratory conditions leads to the slightest infection ko'ing people.
Oh and allergies I hate having to cook for friends, When they start with the questions"Does it contain wheat?" Back in the good old days they had the courtesy to just die.
I'm not ant-medicine far from it. It pays my bills
I think people in general is my latest RL pet peeve.
Oh and remember "Coughs and sneezes, Spread diseases"
