Fatties asking me why I'm so skinny. Go eat more cake and worry about yourself. ffs. (And it's only overweight people. "Normal" / in shape people say nothing.)

So my mother apparently had a pity party on Facebook. I guess she was seeing some guy - she didn't tell me anything about it - and just the other day the "My Mom's Name is single" thing popped up on Facebook followed by a bunch of "Feel bad for me" posts.

You know, I have a lot of problems and I hold almost daily pity parties for myself, but I don't broadcast them on Facebook. And then she wonders why her kids don't take her seriously. :/



Facebook is turning into one of my top pet peeves. Though I don't think it can ever trump driving/drivers as my #1.

Oh I just had a cousin that was on FB whining about stuff that was happening to her whenever it would happen. I just started ignoring her posts and moving on to the next. Then last month she puts up this HUGE ASS RANT about people whining about their problems on FB and how they should sth up. Part of the rant goes on and on about how she's a single mother that has it so hard and has to take care of things her self and suck it up...blah, blah, blah. Well let me tell you that girl hardly ever has her kids because they are over by Gma and Gpa most of the time and whenever anything goes wrong Gpa is over there making it all better. She's constantly out partying and going to the bars to watch bands...and I mean twice a week or more she's doing this.

I just found it hypocritical that she's telling people to sth up but I've heard her go on and on about not having a job, getting evicted, not being able to buy Christmas presents for the kids, etc Thats the thing that irritates me the most I guess with FB, having to listen to hypocritical people or judgmental people...especially when its family and you have to keep your mouth shut. lol

I've told family and friends off before for being idiots and whining on facebook. They're better people for it now! They just send it to me through messages out of spite.

Pedestrians that blindly step out into the road without looking then yell at you when you have to slam on the brakes to avoid killing them and/or the kids they just dragged out into the road (because they saw me coming and refused to do so) as some kind of twisted offering to whatever deity must be protecting them from a moving vehicle.

Yet if I was to speed up and remove these people from the gene pool and thus do society a great favour, I would be the one who goes to jail.

Peeve: drivers who see pedestrians getting ready to cross at the crosswalk and the cross light on, but still don't have the sense of mind to stop and let the pedestrians cross when they have the right of way.

I swear, there's one intersection on my way home from work where it's actually safer to cross when you don't have the crosswalk light because of how crazy folks around here are.

I've actually almost gotten hit by people not paying attention to the cross walk signal. There was a white van waiting for the green light (Or so I thought.), as soon as the buzzer goes off and the crosswalk signal changes to walk, I start crossing, and the vehicle literally speeds up, only to stop an inch of so away from me.

I've seen people get shoved towards oncoming traffic by cars exiting parking lots. Shit's fuckin' scary man.

Never had a bicycle issue with drivers but I ride in a park so thats probably why. But I have had issues with drivers when on my motorcycle. I was even broadsided at a stop sign by one a-hole. If I have to watch out for your ass and follow the rules of the road to protect you, then you need to be doing the same fucking thing for me too. Thats my pet peeve. lol

My street is like that due to there being a school on it. The terrifying thing is is that people drive like this with kids around. Basically during school run hours you need to take cover and hope for the best.

Since we're on driving pet peeves:

- People who say I'm a slow driver when all I try to do is adhere to the speed limit, even trying to limit myself to 5mph over.

I know sometimes that speed limits are crazy low, but I've had people overtake me on 1-lane roads because they must've thought I was going too slow. I was, of course. It's a 35 mph zone, even though it could easily be 40 or 45. But I was once the passenger to somebody who got a ticket there, so I don't intend to go any faster.

It's made worse because, on that road, I'm usually driving a company van...with a consumer that likes to hit himself in the head so hard he causes brain damage. One of the triggers for this guy's agitation episodes is the sight of policemen. So me getting ticketed by the cops would be a disaster on so many levels.
