I used to hate group projects as well until I started going to college, especially the one I'm at now: it's a 4 year private school, so it's not exactly cheap (20k/year, though it's still one of the less expensive ones in the state). It seems like most people have a better desire to work together and make sure it's always one of the top pieces of work possible. It could also be due to being in a business program, and it's more or less drilled into us in every class that we have to regularly make presentations and work in teams, so I think that comes out in a positive manner as well.

Why do so many shoe manufacturers refuse to create shoes in half sizes?

I'm a 7.5. If I try to stuff my feet into sevens ... fucking ouch ... and if I put my feet into eights? My foot moves around in the shoe, and it causes some seriously nasty blisters. There's a reason half sizes exist. It's because people don't fit exactly into the whole sizes. And it totally sucks to find a really awesome pair of shoes and be unable to buy them because I know they won't fit comfortably.

Granted, if I could find any truly awesome shoes without having to shop for them online, this might somewhat fix the problem, but most shoe stores do not have my style. And for some reason, a lot of places that I would find shoes that appeal to me don't stock half sizes at all. It sucks.

I mean granted I'm not trying to spend money just yet, but I do want to treat myself soon since it's been a while and dammit, every awesome pair of shoes I've seen has not been stocked in any half sizes at all. Fucking lame.

You think that's bad, try having narrow feet. Finding a shoe that isn't way too wide is a lot harder than finding half sizes.

Shoe shopping in general sucks. Nothing ever fits.

I have trouble shopping for jeans and trousers. I"m fairly short @ 5ft 6in and of a slim build 30in waist.
Whenever I go shopping I can't ever find a combination of short leg and skinny waist.
it seems designers think that thin people are tall and short people are fat.
Also tall fat people are catered for they have a shop which gets designer clothes specifically made for huuge people. It's called High and mighty.
Where do they expect me to go? mothercare? or some other child/baby outlet.

No wonder we are like hermits in vanadiel. The subligar may not look too nice but at least it fits.
Who needs Rl and real clothes? lol

Part of the reasons these job websites fail so fucking hard is that employers post a listing, but they want to be a fucking unique and special snowflake and make you rewrite all your shit and make an account their own fucking website. UGH.

What's the fucking point? Web hits? Do they not know people don't like repeating themselves?

This is the opposite for women. They don't make bigger sizes (I'm a 14) in petites. I'm 5'3", so I generally need to wear petite style pants, though with some brands I can get away with regulars if I wear heels or platforms with them every time I wear them.

But they sure do have a ton of size 14 pants in long.

I think designers in general have trouble realizing that people sometimes have like, stomachs and butts and thighs.

It's not like I'm shopping high end here. Aksannyi shops at Wal-Mart for most of her clothing needs.

Thrift shops also see a lot of my money, though I can't blame them for size issues, because ... thrift shop. So it's not like I'm looking for Michael Kors, Gucci, and Versace, here.

I have wide feet. Not all shoes look good on wide feet. Nor is it always easy to find wide sizes in many styles. So I'm limited.

People who don't clean up after their dogs. And on top of that, why would you let your dog poop in the mail vestibule? It's technically outdoors (it's like a miniature tunnel) but come on. Why would you let your dog shit there?

I didn't step in it, but I was pretty goddamn fucking annoying to have to dodge land mines while disposing of the ad spam I find in my mailbox every day.

Elaborating on a previous peeve: People who bitch at me because I kicked their worthless ass from the group because they didn't show up on presentation day.

It's not my fault you got a 0, that's your fucking fault for doing NO work and NOT showing up to class.

Seriously, he says he's "stressed" because him and his ex are having troubles on who's getting custody, but another group member of mine is having the same issue with 2 kids, an ex that cheated on him, and people breaking into his house, and he STILL did the assignment.

You did the right thing, if people don't pull their weight, they shouldn't get credit. It sucks to be that person, but they have no right to expect someone else to do the work for them.
